After the stair-lift was installed, about four days or so, The chair feels like the rollers are slightly noisy. I guess after running the system has settled and kind of broke in now. When the chair gets to the bottom of the stairs the chair won't rotate to the left so I can get up and out of the chair easier. Other than those two items I'm very happy with the equipment. Feels very solid when in operation.

Chair is just as advertised. Easy to operate and very well installed. No big problems or issues. The beeping sounds seems a bit much and unnecessary, especially for those people with mental problems.

The remotes should be redesigned. They require considerable pressure to operate. I have some arthritis in my hands and so it’s painful at times to squeeze the button and hold it tight to keep the chair lift moving.

I wish it was easier to turn around at the top of the stairs.

Sometimes the chair doesn't lock in readily, thereby preventing operation/charging. But otherwise it seems to function very well.

2/12/2020 My complaint is against the refund/cancellation policy and not the stairlift itself. We had ordered and put a deposit down (50% of total cost) on an Elan straight lift via Bruno dealer Aston Pharmacy Home Health Center for my father. Unfortunately my father passed away the day the lift was to be installed. We contacted the dealer to cancel the installation and they stated that they would still have to charge us $600. We feel this is a horrible policy which was not disclosed to us and resulted in a poor experience with Bruno and their dealer. To us, it just shows that Bruno and their dealer are unsympathetic and do not really care about their customers, only about making the sale upfront. Ironically the dealer's slogan is, "Where caring is the heart of our business" 2/15/2020 Update: I am revising my star rating (from 1 star to 4 stars) for Bruno Independent Living Aids. Anne from Bruno reached out to let us know that she had contacted the dealer on our behalf and worked out an arrangement with the dealer who will be providing a full refund to us after all. Bruno offered support to the dealer so they didn't lose any money on fees, labor hours and shipping costs they had incurred. I struggled deciding whether to change the star rating to 3 or 4 stars, but in the end decided to go with 4, as from our perspective Bruno took the initiative and went above and beyond in working out a desirable resolution for their dealer and us, their customer.

The stair lift works good. I only wish it had buttons that were a bit easier to push. I have limited strength in my hands, and it is hard for me to hold the button in without accidentally releasing it causing the lift to stop. The remote call buttons are even harder for me to hold down, they take a fair bit if force to hold in. I also wish the lift seat height could be adjusted by the user, mine was installed a bit high and I would have to request a technision to have it lowered. But other than these things, the chair has been working well for the few months I've had it.

The outside and inside stairlift are great. I am very happy with the product. My only concern is the outside lift having no awning over it.
