I sat an IQ test with this group for an answer to the quiz was only $2, or something similar, however, when you try and find out your score, you are automatically put on a weekly subscription. It is now costing me $125 AUD a week!!! I contacted PayPal to stop the subscription and get a refund. Although they cancelled my subscription and I put a hold on my card, they still took the money out. I can't cancel it myself as I don't even have log in details for the account. Yet they are still taking a whopping price. I also can't find the subscription cancellation button.

Trial turned into a $29.99 subscription, refund refused I signed up for a trial of the IQ test and only wanted the test result. Shortly afterwards I was charged $29.99 for a monthly subscription. I admit I may not have read the terms closely enough, but the renewal information was easy to overlook during the payment process. I did not use the Premium service at all after the charge. I contacted customer support, cancelled the subscription, and asked for a refund. They declined, saying that fees are non-refundable and that the renewal terms were shown during the trial purchase. They only cancelled the subscription to prevent future charges. I live in Mongolia, and $29.99 is a significant amount for me. I would appreciate it if the company could reconsider and issue a refund as a goodwill gesture. I would also recommend making the trial-to-subscription terms much clearer at checkout.

Review: I signed up for the $1 trial without realizing it would automatically renew for $39.99. A $39.99 payment was later attempted on my card, but thankfully it was declined. I have contacted BrainsMate support requesting the immediate cancellation of my subscription, but I have not received a response yet. There is also no option to cancel the subscription directly through my account settings. I need my subscription to be canceled immediately and confirmation that no further payment attempts will be made to my card. Please respond to my request and confirm that my subscription has been canceled.

Paid for the £1 IQ test results, just for them to sign me up to a $10 monthly subscription without my prior consent. Complained to support and they did nothing to rectify the situation, even though I outlined that I was unaware I was making another purchase. Don't let yourself get scammed like I did.
