Monthly box contents are hit or miss for me - love products for skin, so far have not been thrilled with fragances plus I personally do not wear colorful eye shadows. But over all I love surprises in the mail.

I think it's fun to get samples of products I've never head of, but I'm not likely to purchase them so I feel like I'm just stocking up on vacation toiletries.

Twice now I've received products that had broken packaging that caused the product to spill all over the inside and haven't been able to even try it because of it.

Birchbox is nice and i like the concept of monthly boxes but would prefer if atleast 2 items could be personally picked as not all the items in the box come in use.

Birchbox is a good service for someone that likes to experiment. They send a lot of color and products that seem ment for younger people (teens or 20-somethings). In my mid-thirties, I do not experiment as much anymore so I rarely use what is sent other than to try it out once or twice. Overall, I would recommend this to someone young but would not recommend this for everyone.

I was very excited to receive the items in my profile. Unfortunately I consistently get lotion and perfume which I'm not so excited about. I like the point system. But could use a more tailored sample selection.
