Absolutely horrible company. No way to contact customer service and they don't respond. Charged me for a second subscription that I did not purchase with no email or any type of notification that they were going to charge me again.

Smallest samples I ever received! The samples were also nothing I could use, I filled out my beauty profile perfectly, only to have it ignored. This was my first box, definitely my last too!

Birchbox doesn't not stand by their products. They sent me a damaged lipstick that is unusable and will not replace it or send me another product. They did however, give me ten points. So I could go on their website, spend more money with them (plus pay for shipping). Basically, they can profit from their mistake, instead of caring about their customers. Thanks Birchbox. Glad my subscription is ending, because it's no fun paying for products you can't use.

I've been a birchbox monthly subscriber for at least two years. At first I loved it, good sized and varied products and quick delivery. Over the last year ive found personally that the products are quite similar every month and not as exciting as when I first subscribed. The delivery is getting later every month this month payment came out on the 2nd march because of weekend and I didn't receive it till 11th march. Also this month which has happened before an item was missing. Communication is minimal and found that certain points I had raised are never discussed. I.e. That the products are not as exciting and the sizing is so much smaller. And receive very similar products month to month. This was one of the reasons I choose birchbox as they stated that you never receive the same products twice. I think it maybe time to cancel my monthly subscription and look at alternatives on the market.

I was promised a lip product in my box for the month and didn't get one at all. They said because I had switched credit cards that month that I wasn't getting a lip product which was one of the items counted for in the box. Makes zero sense to me as a paying customer. I messaged directly and emailed my issue hoping for it to be resolved and then one person through email came through to resolve my issue but when I received my order in the mail like I should have in the first place which I did pay for- it had a nasty passive aggressive note on the address label calling me clever before my name. How unprofessional and rude. They won't get another dime from me. Their boxes were subpar to begin with. I'll let everyone know it.

Three of my coworkers and I started using Birchbox at the same time as our boss gave us a 3 month subscription for Christmas, so we received our first box in January 2017. We all have different ethnicities, hair type, skin type and beauty requests/needs. When filling out the initial survey, we all had varying answers. For example, I did not want skin care products and was more focused on make up and hair product. When we got our first box, we were underwhelmed. We all get the EXACT same products though Birchbox advertises a custom experience. I complained to customer service and surprisingly received another box that was custom to my needs and I was happy. Then, in February, we all received the SAME box again. So disappointing! I didn't even bother with customer service this time. Now it's March and I haven't received a box so I'm assuming they counted my correction box in January as my third box even though it was their mistake. Incredibly disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. As previously explained, I requested to not receive skin care products yet I received a total of 5. Additionally, I received 3 bottles of dry shampoo. No variety, and they don't fulfill your requests. Don't waste your time and money. I've heard Ipsy is much better.

I was there today, really the worse customer service, the manager was unfriendly. She charged me 28$ instead of 26$ the real price. In addition to that whenever I have a discount they tried to tell me its acceptable only online so they want me to purchase the product as regular price. I don't recommend this place at all....Very very expensive and the woman manager there is not professional and rude...stay away people. Iam not interested in your email anymore so I will unsubscribe right now. You really lost a very good customer .

I have used BirchBox before and it was a total disaster - My address is around the back of a building which is very clearly outlined at the front of my block of flats, there is actually a metal sign next to the other post boxes detailing this. Anyway they delivered it somewhere and I never received it. I asked for another one and happened to catch the delivery man this time round, throwing the box on the porch - when we are around the back. The box is a mess from being thrown and I cancel my subscription. This time around I gave them another try along with Glossybox (WHO ARE AMAZING IN COMPARISON) and low and behold they have messed up again, my box was never delivered (tried my work address this time) to a different address which is manned by a receptionist 8-6. They sent me another replacement - and it has items missing. This company is seriously crap. There main issue is delivery because the customer service is not too bad (although you can never get through on the phone) Don't bother is my advice.
