I leave 3 stars because the delivery…
I leave 3 stars because the delivery for the restaurant wasn’t good, but the customer service from Beyond Menu was kind and understanding. I placed an online order at 4:22pm. Delivery promised was 4:52pm. Called restaurant at 4:55 for update, said no driver yet. Called again at 5:31 due to no delivery yet, & was worried about food borne illness, restaurant associate said “driver will be here in 10 minutes.” And I stated I wanted to cancel order due to food borne illness, he said call +1 (630) 776-3590 and hung up. So I called that number to which the representative understood and canceled order, no issues & said I would receive refund within 5-7 business days. However, food was left at my door at 5:41pm even after I canceled. (I have a ring camera). I still left a tip for the driver because I felt bad. However, I ended up throwing away the food because I didn’t want to risk food borne illness. Food ordered at 4:22pm. Suppose to be delivered at 4:52pm, but actually delivered at 5:51pm. Imagine food sitting on counter til delivery pick up, then sitting in a vehicle when temps in phx are 111 degrees in phx. I’m sure food wasn’t edible. I called to cancel order. And she promised refund 5-7 days. Hope they keep their word.

Hi Mel! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re so sorry your order faced delays and that the situation left you concerned about food safety. While we’re glad our team was able to assist with the cancellation and refund, we completely understand your frustration that the food was still delivered afterward. This isn’t the level of service we aim to provide, and we’d like to look into this further to prevent it from happening again. Please reach out to us at [email protected] or (630) 776-3590 so we can discuss this in more detail and make sure your concerns are addressed properly. Best regards, The Beyond Menu Team
