This location is very clean, welcoming and organized. It feels and looks like an upscale private practice. The waiting area is huge and allows social distancing. The receptionists are extremely warm and professional and they talk you through the process without making you feel like a burden. Though the attending did not examine me or address what I was there for (my sinuses), she gave me good advice for what I told her I thought it was.

BetterMed is the BEST place to go COVID testing. I had to have results for a PCR test within a day, on Easter Sunday in order to travel to CA on Monday. I can't thank them enough for making this happen. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful with my situation (the Colonial Heights and Short Pump locations)

I went in because I had a sore throat, slight fever, headache, and congestion. I had a strep test, flu test, and covid test. The nurse was so kind taking all the tests she even gave me a vomit bag since it made me feel ill. She was so comforting and kind. Wish I remembered her name I went in on Friday, March 19th if that helps. Kenneth Ramey was fantastic. When I found out I did not have the flu or strep but I had Covid I was brought to tears. He was comforting and resourceful in what I needed to do. He described how the news only tells us the deaths but not the number of people who survive. He even told me a story to help with the information. It was so comforting to me. The kind words and calming nature of everyone made this experience not as scary and I left with a clear plan of action. I am truly grateful!
