Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

Our American bulldog, Rosa, really loves Badlands dry food, both the beef and chicken. We give her half Badlands and half of another dryfood. She is enthused about eating, more energetic, and has gotten firmer, healthier-looking.

I have a older dog she's been legally blind most of her life, the change in energy in her is amazing. She plays with her two boys that are about one year old she's never done that before. Just great to see her so happy and playful.

Thorin loves superfood complete. He dances in a circle when it’s time to eat. He’s playing with his toys again. He got bored with them and didn’t play, but since he’s on superfood complete, he goes to the toybox and digs him out. He is a very happy boy now, and that makes my heart smile.

Ww have been feeding our dog table food for over 7 years. He was overweight, diarrhea, and not active at all. The transition for him to dog food has been difficult. He holds out until he knows there is nothing for him to eat but what is in his bowl and then he eats. Sometimes not until the end of the day but he eats. He has lost some weight, no more diarrhea and he has way more energy. It appears that he like the chicken formula better than the beef and he scarfs up the treats. I truly believe that this food will put years back in my dog's life. Thank you!!

My beautiful but picky Mika loves this food!!! I leave her food out to eat whenever. From the moment I first served Badlands Ranch Superfood she literally devours it. She's more playful too. So glad I tried it!

The product is amazing! It's worth every dollar. The dog is a Golden Doodle, and he is now 7. I Suspected his current his current food (Purina) was making him sick. It was recommended by a veterinarian due to the sensitive stomach issue, which is a result of the crap they put it! He passed a large parasitic bowel movement after a week of the supetfood as a 50/50 mix. Let me tell you, I suspected this would happen, I have the photos. This is the best food I have ever seen. I am calling in now to change my order to 3 bags a month. Thank you, Kathryn and Badlands team!! You will save many of our beloved dogs, who are memebers of our family!
