Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

Since my pup nala has started eating this food for just a little over a month now she is eating slower and enjoying her food plus her poops are so much easier to clean up outside. I think this food has been great for her and I’m happy I’m feeding her healthy options.

They both seem to love the food! That being said they don’t need to have emails sent on 3 times a day level! When I need some food or treats , I know how to contact you. Please take note of this message! Thanks from Rexanne Mancarella

I am so excited that I found Badlands dog food. I have two mini dachshunds and I have been really frustrated with off the shelf dog foods. I originally stopped on your site because I have been a fan of you and Greys Anatomy for years. I was so glad to find a food that contains excellent ingredients with no extra fillers and is produced in a way that preserves all the nutrients. My girls have loved the food since the very first serving. They also enjoy the treats. I was amazed when I quickly saw a change in their coats. They are shinier and softer than I have ever seen. Thank you for all that you are doing for our pets.

The product is amazing. Our elderly dog has a glossy coat and is no longer itchy her skin nor biting her paws. She had dry patches on her nose that has resolved. Our younger dog is no longer shedding excessively. My only complaint is wishing that the product came in larger packaging for a bulk price. We go through it quickly with two large dogs.
