Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

Precious loves the food! Previously she was a finicky eater but with Badlands Ranch she comes to her bowl without being called. She recently had to have her ACL repaired and she is recovering at breakneck speed in spite of being 11 years old. Thanks for a great product.

Excellent product. Next best thing to feeding raw. And the best part is my GSD LOVES this food and his poops have never been better. I am very happy with Badlands!

Our picky eater Casey eats Badlands Ranch products better than any other speciality foods I have ever tried. Only time will tell if he continues to devour it.

Lizzy loves, loves the food - beef. She gets this one meal with another type for the second feeding, for variety. I’ve been using this routine for the last six weeks and it’s the first time in 15 months I have an eager and satisfied eater, who at a mere 6 lbs is keeping her weight steady. (I won’t be getting chicken as the Havanese seem prone to chicken allergies.)

My dog loves his food and his joints in his legs seem to have improved a bit. Buddy is a Staffordshire and a rescue. I rescued him from an eviction a few years ago where a family left him behind to starve. Buddy had a bad injury to one of his back legs and now a joint problem from the injury. Even though he will need surgery to completely fix it this food seems to have helped a bit with his mobility. Badlands Ranch food is amazing! Cost is a bit too expensive to afford to buy often but Buddy loves it!

The superfood bites are my dog’s new favorite treat. She starts doing tricks the moment she sees the bag come out in hopes that she’ll get some of her favorite yummy snacks!
