Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

Spanky is a golden retriever and his coat started to turn fuzzy and vet couldn’t figure it out. I believed it was what he was eating so I tried Badlands and slowly I can see a change. I will send pics to follow.

We have three small dogs and all of them are rescues. They are not picky eaters and love to play and walk. Our oldest is 16. He sleeps practically all day because he has a bad back and stomach tumors. He is still a puppy at heart though and we want him to have a good quality of life and hope your food will assist that in happening.

Our Bernese Mountain Dogs are 6months old now. We give them super food complete as a topper. They love it. I have noticed shinier coats and lots of energy. We also use the food as treats as well so we feel like we're giving them something healthy.

my EmmyLou had kind of gone on a hunger strike regarding her dog food ...now that i'm using Badlands as a topper...she is excited to eat again...but she definitely waits to eat UNTIL she sees me add the topper ❤️🤣

Was worried that Lady would miss having a bone type of treat to chew on but she doesn't seem to mind at all.

Shasta is literally fending for more of this dog food. I was adding it to her food as a supplement, but she picks out every little piece and leaves her old dog food there. Her coat looks great. Her energy seems up. She is licking at her paws less. And she is generally just more happy except when she’s out of it. It isn’t within my single mom budget to get her on it full-time and only but I would if I could. So thank you so much for a great product! She sure loves it!

My dog loves this food. She gets dry in the morning and wet with canned or whatever is left from my dinner (if appropriate) for her evening meal. I have been mixing her morning meal with super food and now she gobbles it ! If I could afford to give it as a full meal she would be in heaven but she is a large dog and it's just not possible. will keep on with what we're doing.
