Valerie is a professional that truly has your best interest in mind. I have used her a few times over the years to assist me with my resume as well as my Linked In profile. I have noticed an increase in responses from potential employers after Valerie's involvement.

Having the perspective of a human resources professional during your job search gives you an added edge, even if you’ve navigated searches on your own before. Support from partners and friends is important, but it’s different with guidance of someone who has worked directly in the field. Valerie brings deep experience and a grounded understanding of the hiring landscape. She offers clear direction when you need it and a safe space to reassess your approach when things shift. Her professional knowledge and resources help you strengthen your strategy and stay aligned with current trends in an increasingly competitive job market, insights that many outside the recruiting world may not have. She equipped me with the tools and language to articulate my strongest skills and coached me on how to frame them effectively in interviews. With her guidance, I secured a role back in the field I love, with compensation that reflects my experience and education. These are the kinds of nuanced, human insights that AI simply can’t replicate. Valerie has been a valuable sounding board throughout my search. I’m grateful for our time working together and glad to have her in my network.

It is with great enthusiasm and delight to write this recommendation for Valerie Martinelli. Growing tired and less passionate about the industry I was working in for ten years, I put my trust in Valerie Martinelli Consulting given a friend's recommendation. From the first consulting meeting we had, I immediately felt comfortable engaging with Valerie as she discovered the client, your interests, and career aspirations. I no longer felt the stress and daunting road ahead after our consultation and the several meetings to follow. I knew I was in good hands from our first interaction. After thorough questionnaires in preparation for my resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn content, Valerie executed and presented my documents to the highest standards with great care and diligence. Following this stage in the process, we practiced mock interviews which I found to be incredibly valuable given the substantial content she provided and her feedback and knowledge to standard and behavioral questions. Thanks to Valerie, I have landed a role at a prestigious American luxury goods company which was my desire from the beginning. She is not only an exceptional Career Coach, she is an amazing person who you can trust to transition careers or land your dream role!

Explored the option of going back to the job market recently, and Valerie was a great help in clarifying today's reality with job hunting, how LinkedIn plays into that, and how having the right keywords in the right way can make a huge difference. I am grateful for Valerie's advice, and would highly recommend her!
