ArhausReviews of arhaus.com

DO NOT shop at Arhaus, they have the absolute worst customer service. My wife and I have spent so much money here and we even convinced our parents to get a coburn motion couch worth over $10k from them. Everything is great until you have an issue, then they are the most arrogant and unhelpful company you can ever imagine. My parents sat physically on a couch in their demo room at the store and ordered it because it was comfortable. The couch gets delivered and it is significantly less comfortable than the one they tested in the store (same exact couch model). We called and complained and asked for a resolution/return and all they could say is the couch can't be returned and we are out of luck! They didn't offer any alternative resolution and the person on the phone was very condescending and illogical. He was saying "oh well the couch in the store is more maintained so it's expected to be more comfortable." We bought the couch just a few months ago, it hasn't even been a year so that makes ZERO sense! I am still stunned that they didn't care about the quality of their furniture not being up to par and just flat out refused to offer any sort of resolution or help. I will never shop with them again because I'd rather spend my hard earned money with a business that values me as a customer and cares about my overall experience and is committed to making things right when issues arise.

Sales great, furniture great but delivery the worse!!! My friend who spent a ton with them had same experience as me. I recently ordered 2 lamps to be deliblvered no latter than end of November. Still no lamps. Customer service nice but for weeks was told they would be in the next week. Wrong! Thanks for nothing Arhaus.

Sadly, as much as I thought I would love my new sofa ($10,000.00 in price), I do not and would NOT recommend this sofa. While it is physically beautiful- it is made is a way to fool the customer. NONE of the cushions can be flipped over. Therefore - it is designed with the fabric only on one side. Competitors such as Pottery Barn offer sofas with just as much beauty and they last wonderfully ( 13+ years) and can be flipped over to extend the wear. Never again will I buy from this company. It feels like they tried to fool me!

Wife found Arhaus store in Timonium Md. which is closest to York, PA. After much searching for bedroom furniture wifey found a highboy dresser and night stands in the color and style she liked. The price, even though it was on sale, by comparison for this obvious foreign made furniture was still extremely expensive. Our in store experience was positive, salesperson was knowledgeable enough and helpful. They had a zero finance plan for 2 years that made the extremely high price more palatable until our Bitcoin catches up to pay it off. My 47 year career background owning and running a kitchen and bath business, I know about cabinetry construction manufacturing and quality. Here is where it gets interesting...... We placed our order in April, our furniture was manufactured in June, it was delivered in November..guess we had to wait for the container to be shipped from who knows where? Regardless, we had the pieces delivered and the delivery process was by all means was a great experience. We tipped the chaps who delivered it as the pieces, get this...ready?? weighed a combined weight between 2 night stands and highboy dresser, 675lbs!!! Yes you heard me, 675lbs!! Our main bedroom on the second floor was being renovated and we were unable to have them place it there so we stored these pieces in a first floor room. I thought to myself, how on earth am I going to get these pieces to the 2nd floor when the time comes? Well, the time has come to move them, common sense says, first take the drawers out, correct? I did that, took some discovery as the slow-close slides need unscrewed to release the drawers...no big deal. I did the night stands first, this is when I found the reason the friggin' items weigh so much.. Get this there is a full 1" thick slab of granite boxed in plywood the full size of the back panels screwed and glued into the nightstands and highboy to give it that "EXPENSIVE FEEL"! Come on people.. is that necessary? That is deceptive advertising in my book........So, I took the friggin' slabs out just so I could move the pieces. Still took 2 strong individuals lots of grunting and moaning to move them. The furniture pieces in all are fair quality even without the slabs of stone glued into it to make it super heavy and "FEEL" expensive......it's definitely not necessary. Time will tell to see if these pieces hold up but I hope I never have to move them again!

While the company has a great selection of higher end home furnishings, the service and support I’ve received on an online order has been abysmal. I returned 2 table lamps via UPS over a month ago. After several calls and emails with customer support I still do not have a credit for the return. Will take my business elsewhere in the future.

I am writing as a loyal Arhaus customer who has appreciated the prompt service and responses in the past, despite experiencing delivery issues on four previous occasions. I continued to choose Arhaus due to the commitment to customer care. Unfortunately, my recent experience with a large order totaling $10,000 has been disappointing. On July 5th, I ordered the Felton coffee table, and on September 1st, I added dining chairs and a bench. When I placed these orders through sales consultant Peter West, I was informed that all items were in stock. During a follow-up call, Carter Harbert assured me that delivery would occur in early November. However, I recently learned that the delivery would be delayed, meaning I will not receive my furniture in time for Thanksgiving and the holidays. After patiently waiting for months, it is frustrating to find that the items I was promised will not arrive on schedule. When I contacted customer service, I felt dismissed and was simply advised to wait, which was disappointing considering the significant investment I’ve made in Arhaus furniture. Furthermore, when I inquired about the possibility of canceling the order, I was told by Carol Krebs and Olivia Bucolt that nothing could be done. However, just 10 minutes later, I was surprised to discover that the order had been canceled without any notification, explanation, or confirmation. This lack of communication, especially after waiting 3–4 months, was both unexpected and upsetting. On November 8th, I called to have my canceled order reinstated. I was informed that not only would I need to pay the new, higher price, but I would also face an extended wait time for delivery. At this point, I am deeply disappointed, as I’ve been unable to find anyone willing to help resolve this situation. The lack of support and communication has made it difficult for me to enjoy even the existing Arhaus furniture in my home. Thank you, Arhaus, for such an awful experience and for ruining my holiday dinner plans. Now I have to send a cancellation invite to all my guests because my dining chairs are nowhere to be found, and my family will probably end up sitting on the floor this holiday. Thanks to you, Arhaus, my whole family is disappointed in me because they told me multiple times not to buy anything from your store—but I didn’t listen. Now I'm so embarrass and ashamed to face my family.

My experience was very pleasant. The product specialist that helped me select and place my order was wonderful at the International Mall in Tampa. The communication leading up to my delivery was proactive and timely. Then my delivery went smooth as silk. I had a great experience and I love the Kipton sectional that I now have in my home. I saw many negative reviews but mine was great. I would gladly recommend Arhaus to my closest friends and family.

We ordered the Jacob Dining Table. It was in stock according to the site and delivered within a reasonable time. Unfortunately, after that the problems started. We received the tabletop but the wrong base. Now we can't get a new base and no one seems to be able to help us. We have called every customer service line and used the online chat system with no success. We have spent hours on hold. Today, after 3 weeks of trying, I was finally told that we could expect a new base to be in stock at the earliest within 6 weeks. After 6 weeks they may have an estimate for delivery. Where is my missing base? Also, since the tabletop has no holes, we asked how the base connects to the top - since I am now worried about this table structurally - no one can tell me. Never, ever again. I am off to Design within Reach.
