I am a tenant in a property managed by one of your property management customers (Acorn + Oak Property Management of Durham, NC. The company is using your software inappropriately by claiming I have an unpaid rent bill when I have documented evidence that I paid it. The company made an accounting error and is using your software to try to coerce me to help them cover it up. (They keep billing me for an unpaid bill.) AppFolio should prevent the company from using your software in this manner.

AppFolio is a wonderful program to use for any Property Management Company to use.

Only thing lacking is Google fiber

Good app if you can get answers to questions you can't find on their "Help" section or by chatting a question.

AppFolio is a remarkable improvement from our last property management software. There are some changes I would like to see in regard to some report layouts & the inability to integrate GAR leases (state real estate board approved leases) into the system. However, AppFolio is receptive to input from property managers and their customer service is super fantastic. I'm enjoying the software and I think it's a really good fit for our company.

If I could I would give five negative starts. By far the worst customer support I have ever seen. These people don’t even have a basic accounting knowledge but they work for an accounting application and answer the phone. Every time I called with a question it was apparently “too complex” to solve it over the phone so they would start a case. Then I wouldn’t hear from them for days or at all. Even when somebody finally got back to me they provided some vague answers and none of the solutions worked after all. I was in a process of setting up new associations and needed some guidance and I ended up figuring it out on my own because calling the support was a waste of time. They have no idea what they are doing, they are incapable of providing any solution and showing any understanding of accounting issues. I was advised by one person to enter incorrect bank balance in order to reconcile bank statement. I am not sure how this company gets four or five starts from others users who are saying customer service was prompt. That was not my experience. Although it is a good software, easy and user friendly without a proper support they are not worth the frustration. You will be on your own!

It's not user friendly. it's been almost a year and I'm still having difficulty with it. Please work on making it more user friendly
