Do not give up
To say Accredo is the most inefficient pharmacy ever in my opinion is an understatement. Plan at least an hour on the phone waiting for a "dedicated team member" to take your call after I called the dedicated team's phone number I was given in order to avoid the extra waiting time. Obviously, in theory that would be a great thing to implement if this company really wants to improve customer service like their voice recording states as we are on hold. The only problem with their message to stay on the phone to provide a survey for business improvements they hang up and no survey is requested. I guess it would be useless any way if they really cared to look at all to our reviews. Until today I never searched what AI would say about this business and to my surprise I have experienced everything negative that was listed in the reviews. I have takem an injectable fertilty medication for approximately the past two years and it seems every time the prescription needs to be refilled Accredo has issues and blames it on my urologist by changing my prescription and etc. Some phone takers lie about my order and some tell me the truth. Today, I almost couldn't believe my phone conversation with the call taker. The first call taker referred me to a "dedicated team member" in order to help me with my prescription who ended up to be a representative of a different pharmacy company (Freedom Fertility). I ended the call due to their long wait times and called back. All I asked the call taker was to look where my order was I placed 5 days ago and she went into my entire order and said it was not due for a refill until December. I explained I was not looking for what was delivered, but what was ordered that was placed 5 days earlier which were 40 syringes as I believed they sent the wrong size. She did not seem to know what syringes were and I explained they are an instrument that serves similar to a plunger that puts medication in our body through a needle as a "shot". Seriously, what questions do people who work for a pharmacy are asked at a job interview? Customer service today is no longer what it was 50 years ago and for many of us it is very difficult to accept especially in the medical field when one wrong thing could result in serious consequences. Too bad we must give a company like this a one star in order to leave a review. Just know that all of you who took the time to write a review you are not alone. Today a pharmacist answered my question as to my syringe order was completed two days ago and it will be shipped soon. I asked him why the call taker couldn't have answered that question as today it took almost 90 minutes to get that answer and he said he was not sure, maybe the call taker can not see what pharmacists see if orders placed. Thank you for spending the time writing a review despite I will not expect any drastic positive changes with this company.
