The absoluter worst energy company I have ever had the misfurtune of dealing with. There promise of lower energy bills is an absolute lie. Buyer beware.

DO NOT deal with 4 Change Energy. This company is big lie. They are one of the worst Engery provider which will only cause you big bill and Pain . I will rather stay without power but not to deal with them.

We went to change service to 4Change, now glad we didn't. Setup fee was $220 but the account was never created, system glitch, service never started. Now we're trying to get a refund on the fee, and getting zero correspondence response from them, only if we call and then it's "sorry you'll have wait more until they finish their research". They say in their 4 Change Story page "In the Texas tradition of going big or going home, we decided we wanted to go big—at home." yet the call center is farmed out somewhere in India and you can barely understand the reps. So much for home. Better off getting service somewhere else.

Do not use this company I had to reschedule a payment and they managed to tack on 4 fees!!! even though we agreed on a new payment date. It is also almost impossible to hit close to their credit back structure. And then not to mention i had not changed my electricity habits and i magically went up to 1400 kilowatts when my last 2 months have been 1000

I had 4 Change for years without issues but it's been awful since I renewed my plan last time. Their advertising is SO deceptive. It said the rate would be around 12 cents per but the true rate ended up being closer to 19 cents per or something. My most recent bill was just under $1300. I checked a few energy plan sites & found a plan that the same usage would be around $800. I repeatedly contacted 4 Change asking for help, seeing if there was a better plan for our usage we could switch to, no luck. There was a month where I was asking for TWO extra days to pay without disconnect. That particular bill was around $1200 & the deadline date fell on a Weds & I didn't get paid until Fri- they said that wasn't possible. For someone that had been with them for YEARS & spent so much money with them, that was insane to me. About a month or two ago I contacted them saying I really did not want to cancel with them but I simply could not afford this. There was no real resolution to that. I ended up switching companies last night & now all of a sudden they are trying to contact me with new rates etc. I'll pass thanks.

I had a very disappointing experience with 4Change Energy. I was charged extra fees that I wasn't expecting, and when I decided to leave before my contract ended, the penalties felt excessive. On top of that, my interactions with customer service left me feeling like my concerns weren't taken seriously. I understand contracts have terms, but I expected more transparency and better treatment as a customer. Based on my experience, I wouldn't choose this company again.

The worst electric company I ever dealt with they lied to me right from the beginning. cancellation was ridiculous. They told me my bill would be around $400 with $720

When your services expire and account shows inactive, they will actually continue charging you for the property. So I'm $630 in the hole and I have to contest the charges because 4 Change doesn't cancel charges, even if they're not yours. Shady criminal business practices—they make it look like your services have disconnected and hope you don't notice that they're still charging you, because they know new tenants are likely to choose one of a number of other service providers.
