Terrible customer service experience. I went to my doctor’s office and received a brand-new contact lens prescription just a couple of days ago. I placed an order with 1-800 Contacts, and they canceled it claiming my prescription wasn’t valid. They said they contacted my doctor’s office and were told the script was invalid but the prescription is literally in my hand and clearly shows it was just issued. I tried replying to their email to explain, but the message bounced back as “unavailable.” Now they’re sending me emails telling me I need to call my doctor and fix the problem myself. That’s ridiculous. If they have the prescription and need verification, they should be the ones contacting the doctor’s office again. Instead they canceled the order and pushed the work onto the customer. Not a good experience. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

I used to be a very loyal customer to 1-800 contacts because they offered price matching but the last two years I’ve called to ask them to match prices, and they told me they can’t do that because they can’t do an “incognito“ Google search, so therefore they won’t match prices with Costco or any other company. They lost my business but yet they keep calling me and I only buy from Costco now and save approximately $200 every time I order contacts.1-800-contacts is the very definition of deceptive bait and switch practices.

DO NOT get contacts from here or an eye exam. The contacts are dirty, torn and will mess up your vision. Also if you do an exam please download it . I made that mistake and now they cant find my exam and want to charge me again. Also, the lack of empathy and customer service is pathetic
