I purchased a long tube exhaust system for my C6 Corvette back in February. Order #3166 This was my 2nd order (Speed Engineering) as they weren’t able to ship my first order from Texas Speed due to emissions. Totally understandable. I’m a little frustrated because I was informed that the Speed Engineering Exhaust Kit was ready to ship however has not arrived? I received half of my order (the x pipe) and no issues at all, but it’s been 3 months and I haven’t been able to get an answer back from anyone (Edit: I am now aware of the policy that prohibits replies to emails without enough context). There has been no updates on my order tracking through your website. I just want to know where the long tubes are currently located and if there’s tracking info that will be available.

Hi Lucas, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your experience with 10 Second Racing. We are happy to hear your X-Pipe and associated hardware was delivered safely to you. I reviewed your order and believe you are referring to your Long Tube Headers.10 Second Racing recieves monthly deliveries from Speed Engineering for various products. The 1-7/8" header option included in your order is an extremely popular header for the C6. We were expecting enough units of the 1-7/8" to be delivered in late May. Unfortunately we only recieved about half of the units as aniticipated to cover backorders such as yours. Some good news however, I have confirmed we are expecting another delivery this upcoming week with more of the 1-7/8" C6 headers. I have asked our team to set yours aside upon arrival to guarantee you recieve your headers this time around. Please expect tracking for the headers via UPS mid-late next week. Ray was very informative & helpful throughout the process. Incorrect application was sent, called, received return label & returned in original packaging. Ray has been deligently looking for the correct application for our Corvette, very helpful. They have been great to this point. Hoping to locate the correct application for our vehicle from them. Great experience!

Despites there being many issues on Texas Speed’s end of the process, Ray, from 10 sec racing, was very helpful and determined to get me the parts I paid for in as little time as possible.

I was told shipping was 1-5 days depending on where i was but it took 2-3 weeks to come in and I called 3 times and first 2 times I was told there was no delay, and on the 3rd time I was finally told it there was delay because a part was on backorder. I was told this mid way into the 2nd week. I hope you guys do better with notifying customers when there are delays. Or just simply have a message on the page saying delayed or atleast backorder. I'm sure the part is very good but the wait time and lack of communication is why I gave 2 stars. Since I can't reply to the service manager, I will just edit this. I had no problem on my last time calling I'm talking about the first 2 weeks when I called and was told nothing is wrong when I literally asked them if it was on backorder because I needed a drveshaft soon because my current one is chirping really loud signaling that there is not much life in it. To the last person I spoke to I appreciate them but all the other times I called before for the first 2 weeks, I'm very disappointed. Again I asked multiple times to those people and was told multiple times that It was fine and just to wait a few more days, then i asked if anything was wrong and I actually asked for a refund on the first time and I was told "wait a few more days" and I tried to continue with the refund and they persuaded me to wait then i asked if they can guarantee it will actually be in by that time and they said yes, and in the time I'm speaking about i wasnt told about any other options. And the option the last person i talked to brought up 2 other options 1 was 1600 with taxes 1700 and i forgot the other one but it was just as expensive and unreasonable to pay so much over the original price. Overall to the person I talked to on the last time I appreciate you and thank you I would give 5 stars if that was the person i talked to in the first week not well into the 2nd week. to the people before, I'm very disappointed, like I said I gave 2 stars because of the lack of communication throughout ALMOST the whole experience.

Hi Cyrus! Thank you for the provided order number and for taking the time to leave feedback about your experience with 10 Second Racing. I personally reviewed your order history and noticed you and I actually spoke several times throughout your wait time. Your driveshaft was advertised as in stock and ready to ship because the manufacturer, The Driveshaft Shop, advterised the driveshaft was in stock and ready to ship at their facility. Your order was submitted for immediate shipment to DSS on the same day you ordered with us. The 10 Second Racing vendor relations team followed up with DSS each day requesting tracking for your driveshaft order. When you and I spoke on your 3rd call in, I called DSS myself to identify what the delay was while you were on hold. DSS informed me the delay in shipment was due to a delayed delivery they were expecting from a 3rd party which suppllies them with the end couplers to many of their driveshafts (Tremec Corp). I informed you on the same call for the reason for the delay. You had requested to cancel on the call, suggesting you could order from another retailer and recieve the driveshaft faster from DSS. I clarified to you it did not matter who you had an order with, the delay was attributed to the manufacturer delaying shipment. As an altnernative, I proposed (2) aluminum driveshafts with the same specs 10 Second Racing had in stock on our shelf which you could switch to and recieve immediately. You denied both options and preferred to wait for the DSS driveshaft. Fortunately after I spoke with a service manager at DSS, they intervened with your order to push it out the door several days later. I understand your frustration with the situation, but cannot understand your frustration with 10 Second Racing's communication. We answered every call from you, every email from you and offered what I believe to be the best support a client could receive given the situation. Nonetheless, I actually appreciate you had the maturity to leave two stars when you could have left one out of spite. Ordered a product that was advertised as in stock and ready for despatch, waited 3 weeks for them to dispatch an empty box to me. No response to my emails requesting updates, account stated shipped but the tracking info contradicted this, I was ultimately forced to chargeback the transaction. You can see the childish "customer service" below. Go to a trusted retailer such as Steeda or BBK that ship directly to the uk... No merchandise etc was sent by 10, just some stickers... cheers... Buyer beware!

Hi David, Your BBK throttle body was in stock, shipped from the manufacturer based in California to our facility here in New Jersey because BBK does not ship to the United Kingdom. You ordered on a Friday night, order was not processed by BBK until following Monday morning. BBK did not ship the throttle body to 10 Second Racing until the following Tuesday. 10 Second Racing shipped the throttle body to you the day it arrived to our facility. 10 Second Racing recieved a dispute from you the following day claiming fraud. 10 Second Racing proceeded to redirect the package from UPS customs and luckily we retrieved the product before it was delivered. We understand you may have been upset with the wait time for this product, so we mailed you free racer merchandise instead at our cost including shipping and customs fees. Fast forward to now and not only did you commit chargeback fraud, you also took the time to completely destroy any working relationship you may have had with 10 Second Racing. Perhaps next time don't commit chargeback fraud? Perhaps next time you could communicate like a grown man instead of an entitled brat? My package was delivered extremely late I sent out multiple emails regarding my packages never received a response and last one of the items was the wrong item

I personally reviewed your provided order number. I understand you are frustrated with the time it took for your parts to be delivered. Your order included standard ground shipping via UPS or Fedex. Due to the nature of delivery guarantees from UPS and Fedex, 10 Second Racing DOES NOT offer expedited shipping options either paid or free. Your order was delivered within 5 business days after the order date due to the address provided and the shipping origin of the selected products. I checked our inbox for correspondence from your provided email from order #3067. There were two active message threads where two different 10SR associates held conversations with you regarding product questions and the lead time. Both associates followed up on your inquiries within 24 hours. I also noticed there were 7 emails sent from your email which landed in our spam folder titled, 'WHERE IS MY ORDER!!!'. You did not recieve a response to those messages because they landed in our spam. We also have a strict policy of not responding to emails which do not include provided context related to an order or product inquiry. Simply put, if you would like to communicate like a child, we will not sacrifice our valuable time to text you over email. We encourage you to call our service line at (888) 257-1077 if we can help you order the correct products if still needed. From what I can see on your order, what you ordered is exactly what you received. If you are not familiar with selecting auto parts, we have a dedicated engineering team in house which is happy to help. I would strongly recommend using your words to communicate more effectively with us in the future. DO NOT BUY FROM THOSE PEOPLE!!!!!!! They ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!! Worse experience in my entire life!! Not kidding either, all they do is take your money from when you place an order, you will not received a placed order, believe I advise you not to ever place an order from these scammers. Furthermore y’all said you looked up my order and couldn’t find it, that’s a lie. By the way the order number is #3032 if that helps

I wanted to personally review your order history or communication with 10 Second Racing. I was unable to retrieve your information from your name alone. Do you have an order placed with us under a different name? Furthermore, are you positive you have the correct store? Edit: Order #3032 is listed under a different name, email and phone than the information you provided here Jamesson. It is possible you had used another individual's information via Affirm to complete your order. First of all, this is called fraud. Second, this order has been cancelled and refunded since May of 2023 because we were unable to get in contact with the order recipient via the provided contact information. We simply needed the vehicle VIN and PCM calibration code to help with the DiabloSport PCM exchange. Since we could not verify the vehicle information, the order was cancelled and Affirm was notified from our end to refund the balance of the agreement. If Affirm has not refunded the balance as instructed, we are happy to contact our account manager there in an effort to help. Please feel free to pass this advice and message to the payor of the order if it was in fact intended for yourself. We only communicate with the payor of orders in an effort to combat chargeback fraud. Now that you have provided context for your order history (if you did not already), please consider removing or modifying your review.
