I HAVE BEEN BUYING EQUIPMENT FROM zZOUNDS FOR FOR 30 MONTHS AND I HAVE ONLY HAD A ISSUE WITH 1PEICE OR THAT I DIDNT LIKE WHAT EVER TROUBLE IT WAS Anyway, I sent the old one back. They sent me another one, and I bought three other guitars from them and a couple star systems and have been completely satisfied.

I bought a few items from zZounds.com. A RANE MKll for $899, PIONEERE DJM-S5 for $839, and a backordered AKAI MPC lT for $699. The RANE and the PINONEERE came seperate due to the AKAI MPC being backorder. I always click sign on delivery. Once it had been the alloted time for the back order and I still hadn't received the AKAI MPC I called to tell them I have not received it but yet I was I was being charged the monthly payment for it. They told me to wait a little longer to see if it comes in. After another month and my other two items already paid off in full. I called them again to tell them I'm continuing to be charged $186 a month for the AKAI MPC that has not shown up. I tried multiple attempts to have the payments stop or have them send me the item with nothing but run arounds and hang ups. I called their shipping company they use, they could not locate a picture or confirmation that it was sent and or delivered. I have now received a letter saying FINAL NOTICE and that I need to pay them one more payment of $186 or they will send it to collections. I still have NOT received the AKAI MPC. I once again call them and their response is there is nothing they can do and I have to pay for the item I NEVER received or they will put it in collections. I received and paid in full for the two other items with no issue on my end... why would I not pay for the 3rd item.. this company not only did not send me my item but continously took $186 out of my bank account monthly and still wants me to pay more. HORRIBLE Company do not spend your money here. Complete rip off!!!!

False promises on delivery dates! Seems like when your a new customer the first items arrive fast, after that delivery arrive 5-7 days after an advertised date. A bit deceptive.

Dude they sent me the wrong guitar TWO TIMES IN A ROW. If i'm paying over 1000$ for a guitar you would think they would SHIP THE CORRECT ONE

I have purchased musical equipment for years from zZounds. They do have limited inventory and being impatient as I am, I am always excited to receive my gear ASAP. In most cases, I do receive my items the next day. However, not always. My last two purchases, which were made on a Saturday clearly indicates I would receive my item on Sunday. The last two times, I received notification that I would not receive my item in Sunday but on Tuesday. Tuesday is not Sunday just as much as Sunday is not Tuesday. My concern as insignificant as it may seem to the masses and to zZounds is that when I made the Saturday purchase before a certain time, I would receive the item on Sunday. It was stated on the add for the item. The item I located maybe 2 hours away from me, per the shipping details from FedEx. The agreement between FedEx and zZounds is between the two companies, but the agreement between me and zZounds is personal. zZounds has disappointed me twice as of late. I normally keep a $1,000.00 installment payment balance with zZounds which i will revisit where my money goes. Sweetwater continues to solicit me for my business, which I will strongly reconsider. zZounds has a niche with their very affordable and flexible payment options but that alone is not enough to keep me a solid and dedicated zZounds customer. I wish you all better luck. Keep rocking out! UPDATE 10/21/2025: it took zZounds over 1 year to respond to my review. No more!!

Good pricing,fantastic service,quality products. In the past two years I have purchased two Martins and a Taylor. Waiting on a price special to get my dream guitar. The three grandsons will end up with the first three.

I wanted to take the time and thank zzounds and its staff. You have given those who are honest but had been dealt a bad hand in life, a second you have given us a chance to prove that we are not a score card, but lack opportunity. It has been so long since I have got to channel my emotions. My heart goes into my music and without Zzounds I would still be yearning for that release. I'm sure other musicians can appreciate that statement. Thank you for making a dream come true with affordable monthly payments. You guys "ROCK". I would recommend this company to anyone. Everyone, these guitars come better than what you would buy at a guitar store. I say that because they have not been taken off the shelf and played. No Pic marks. Just make sure to keep up with your bills if you want to buy in the future. This is a bridge you do not want to burn, and with no credit check, I mean c'mon Everyone. No interest rate. You pay for the guitar itself. Now don't jump ahead. Be patient and pick up the one you truly want. Make sure you have a matching phone number, address that matches your card. And first months payment. Payment depends on your Pic. My lowest payment is 30 a month and my highest is 108 for my dream guitars. Give them a call. Find them on Google under Zzounds. Look some of us musicians have been through the ringer, alone, pick it up again and make it an extension of you. Thank you everyone for reading

This company should be given double stars, this is one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing from. from customer service to shipping times to their extended no-interest payment plans, w/o credit checks. I've ordered 5 guitars from them over the past 3 years, and I received them as fast or faster than Amazon (which usually is the standard for shipping times) I am a lifelong customer now, thank you, Keith Kane
