Thanks for partnering with us in regards to your scanner needs. We are happy that you are satisfied of the service we make. Thanks for this awesome remarks.
I bought the Vehicle cup holder mount SKU MCUPMP for $29.99 plus $6.99 shipping. It did not hold my $440.00 scanner as well as I thought it should. It was shipped from Amazon so I went to return it I found the selling price on Amazon is $10.15 with FREE shipping. Yup I paid $26.83 more from Zip Scanners. When I tried to return it they wanted me to pay a 15% restocking fee on something that came from Amazon. When I questioned them I got this. “ All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. As a very small business we cannot be a showroom for scanners” Save yourself the aggervation DON’T SHOP AT ZRIP OFF SCANNERS !!!

Hi Michael, I apologize for this delay and any inconvenience this may cause. As a small company we try our best and really appreciate your business but there is no way we can ship your order due to a staff medical emergency. We tried to ship your order but are not able to do so without critical staff and guarantee that your order will be done correctly. I will be changing operations ASAP to ensure this will never happen again as this is not acceptable or how I want my company run.
I thought the overall ordering experience went well. I placed the order in the evening, and they called to verify it the next day. It did take a little while to connect with them, but I think it is fair to say that this is a small company. They did offer a few additional accessories, as well as their programming service, but were not at all pushy when I declined. I was upgrading from an older Uniden scanner, so had already had an vehicle antenna and experience with programming. New scanner arrived in two days. Price was the best I could find in the internet. If you have never programmed a scanner before, you may want to take them up on their programming services. I switched from a Uniden to a Whistler TRX-2 scanner, which meant using a different programming software. There definitely was a learning curve with the new software as well as the scanner itself. If I had not already had experience programming scanners for trunked systems, there's no way I would have figured out how to get the new scanner up and running on my own. After a little trial and error, the new scanner is working great.

Hey Ruth Fuller, We reviewed your history on our record system and we found out you placed the order last July 22 for TRX-2. You gave us a call July 28, saying you want to return the scanner because your husband cannot use it anyway as he has a pace maker. Your husband said he just read it from a book that having a pace maker means eliminating scanner as well. We told you on our convo that we will send you the complete details of the return instructions through email. As to give satisfaction to customers, we process their request. We appreciate if you give us a call if you need more help.
Flagged a fraud and request my ID, if there was a problem, they payment provider should handle all enqiries. Instead of giving out confidental information. 7 days later finaly ships with no programming nor refund. Let see how long it take on shipping....

I spent about 25 minutes with a representative of this company going over my requirements for my new Whistler TRX2 scanner. I had specific requests for the programming and they happily accommodated me with no additional charges. The scanner arrived in just a few days and its worked well, right out of the box. I think that one of the local police dispatch channels is missing and when I have time, I'll call them and have them walk me through the steps to add this channel. 5 stars overall!
