Yoga for Dentists | Crown of Wellness ProgramReviews of yogafordentists.net

The dental profession has gotten much harder in the last few years – from finding staff to patient management to economic uncertainty. It’s what got me looking for someone like Josie. I think the reason she is so effective is that she has a deep knowledge of where I am coming from as a dentist, which means she can understand me at a deep level and give me the tools that I specifically need to get out of a place of stress, perfectionism and fatigue. Since starting to work with her, she’s helped me gain perspective, shift my priorities, and have an overall calmer approach to my work and my life. My family has noticed a difference, and I feel better than I have for a long time running my practice. I cannot recommend her strongly enough. She is a miracle worker!

"The best thing I got out of the Crown of Wellness program is time. I used to be paralyzed with fear and worry about the practice. That left me no time for anything else. Thanks to Josie and the program I am getting a life again! Dr. Josie not only gets it but she cares. And she goes places that are not trite. She is the real deal. No therapist ever understood what it's like to be in our shoes. She does. Through the Crown of wellness program, Josie is for filling a void that is desperately needed. Thank you.

The Crown of Wellness program has been life changing for me. I experienced a high amount of burnout  as a new business owner early on in my career. This program has truly transformed the person I am in the best way possible. Thanks to Dr. Josie I can manage stress, enjoy the day to day, and have created a clear vision for the life I want. The valuable lessons she teaches set you up for success in every realm. You will become the best version of yourself by completing this program. It does take time, however Dr. Josie is there for you every step of the way. You owe it to yourself to be happy and feel fulfilled!

I can't begin to thank Dr. Josie Dovidio enough for where I am today. When I first approached her after hearing about her own story of burnout, I was ready to sell my practice and take a month-long nap! I didn't know what to expect when she began helping me, but I knew that her approach was different than past consultants I had used to try to improve my practice and work/life balance. I think of her as a unique blend between a dental consultant and a life coach because she has been exactly where I was. Josie was able to help me dig deeper than I ever have to figure out what I truly want, problem-solve with me to overcome specific obstacles, guide me to getting my mindset right through her calming techniques, and hold me accountable for my excuses. I feel more at peace with the direction I am headed, and now instead of throwing in the towel, I have the confidence to do what I need to do for myself and my practice so that I can enjoy this life I have worked so hard for. Josie is an amazing colleague and coach, and I consider her a true friend.

Josie truly is a shining light and gift to female dentists. She understands the struggles because she's been in our shoes. Her insight is always so spot-on, and her understanding is genuine and without judgment. The tools that she's providing give the framework which allows her students to really unpack what is going on in their lives and develop a plan to move forward in a way that reflects their true desires. The Crown of Wellness program is not an "easy fix course”, and it takes time and hard work, however that is what makes the program so effective is taking the time to invest in yourself and truly wanting to put in the work to make a change. This course has been a breath of fresh air in my life and I am so thankful for her guidance and knowledge!

Josie Dovidio’s Crown of Wellness Burnout to Breakthrough Program has been an amazing experience, and I feel like we just got started! I really didn’t know what to expect of the program before getting started, but decided I would give something different a try. I felt like I had been in the thick of reading, listening or trying whatever measures I could come up with on the self help journey but still could see myself in the mode of burnout, fatigue and not feeling like I was making the progress I had wanted for myself. I watched the introductory video and thoughts came to me of identifying with feeling burnt out as Josie described and curious how my life could improve. Without a doubt, I am thankful that the curiosity was within me to seek help from a coach and began the program with an open mind and heart. Josie has delivered more than I could have ever asked for by giving me techniques to calm and slow my mind and body down. Most of us dentist’s run on fast thinking, information overload, decision fatigue, body aches and pains and the list could go on. This program is different from others that I have heard about, through weekly assignments, videos, time to reflect and design a vision, yoga, meditation, accountability calls individually and in a group my life has been transformed! Through Josie’s experience as a female dentist, mom, business owner, and yoga instructor she has given me suggestions and wisdom to guide me through whatever I am struggling or wrestling with personally and professionally. My husband, kids, and extended family have seen the change within me of how I can handle life and stresses in a different way and are beyond proud of the work I am doing with Josie. I can’t thank her enough for being there for me each step of the way, and encouraging Breakthroughs within myself. I feel like a new person, happier from within, a more confident leader in my practice, and have a clearer vision of who I want to be and where I want my life to go! This is a commitment to yourself, and takes time and energy to put in the work- but without a doubt the best decision I have made in the 14years I have been practicing dentistry!

I am a dentist of 20 plus years who bought an existing dental practice 18 years ago and a mom of 3 boys. When I heard about the Crown of Wellness program, I felt overworked, stressed, and I was in a constant feeling of overwhelm at my office and at home. A few months prior to this program I was working 12 hour days 7am-7pm for 9 months and coming in at least one weekend day to catch up. I realized that this busyness was not sustainable, but I wasn’t sure what to do or where to seek help. I was constantly feeling burned out, resentful of my employees, I was annoyed all the time lashing out at my children, telling my husband I wasn’t sure if I could continue working in my office, I was daydreaming of the day I could retire because I had had enough of all the pressures. My patience was shot. Everything turned into a big deal and I felt like I was always drowning, barely keeping my head above water. Thinking back, most of my life I felt like this and my stress level was growing. I eventually outsourced some tasks and cut back some hours. I was thinking about hiring a life coach although I wasn't sure what they did or how they would help or a dental consultant, but I kept thinking after interviewing them, that my problems were not going to be fixed and I saw new stressors coming into play. I still felt like these fixes were lacking something I needed but I wasn't sure what it was. I saw Josie speak at the MDIB Summit in Dallas. Her story made me realize the way I was handling my office wasn't heathy and the burnout was affecting all areas of my life. I wasn't really sure what to expect with the Crown and Wellness Program but I decided to try it. SInce completing the Crown and Wellness program I have learned to take control of my life and not let my life control me. Friends, family and employees have also noticed the change in me. I am more productive and I am able to tackle my to do lists with ease and stress free. What I have accomplished is mind blowing. I have a new outlook on what I want out of my life and why I want what I want. I am calm, happy, and I feel like I have the ability to handle difficult situations and not avoid them. I have discovered who I am and I have a clear vision of where I am going. Josie has a way of calming down my nervous energy while teaching me how to do this for myself. What I love about this program is it isn't changing me or my high energy ways of doing life, but I am learning skills to use my energy more efficiently. I am much more of a peaceful person now. I now have the confidence to reach my potential and find time for myself both personally and professionally while becoming a better dentist by serving my patients more efficiently and thoroughly. I am a better mother because I am not rushing or bringing home my stress from the office. I am present with my family. I can not imagine retiring now. Maybe one day but I am enjoying my work again. It fulfills me and makes me happy. If you are overworked, overstressed, tired of dentistry because it is too stressful on your body and mind, if you are about to give up and leave the profession, I encourage you to join this program and reap the amazing life changing ways to live your life to its fullest potential.
