Love the service. Hate that the cameras die so easily and the SD card readers stop working.

Hi there, we're sorry to hear you ran into some trouble. Could you please reach out to our team (www.support.wyze.com) for further assistance? Thank you.
I've been a Wyze customer since the V2 camera was introduced, and for the most part I'm pleased. Every time a new product or feature came along new bugs came along with them. It seems that users are the Wyze test staff. It often takes many updates for Wyze to get it right. Many features that I have used & liked have simply been eliminated. Lately widgets have been drasticly changed. It's nearly impossible to get a widget to display which items that I want and where to put then in the widget. I've gone through all of the nonsense of selecting and deselecting favorites to get the correct items to display, but when I restore my favorites on the home screen, the widget is screwed up again. PLEASE, widgets need an edit function of their own! Another hot-button for me is the inability to selectively share SD card video on a per camera basis. Users are getting tired of asking for this. Giving out my login credentials is not an option to fix this problem. That gives way too much freedom to view & change my setup.

We appreciate you being a long-time Wyze customer and for taking the time to share this feedback. We understand how frustrating it is when product updates change features or workflows you previously relied on. We hear your concerns about widget behavior, especially the difficulty in controlling which devices appear and how changes to Favorites affect the widget layout. We also understand your frustration regarding SD card sharing, and we recognize why giving login credentials is not a practical workaround when you want more limited access on a per-camera basis. Feedback like this is important, and we appreciate you sharing areas that you feel need improvement.
Initially this was very frustrating. I had ordered a camera via the Wyze web site but through Amazon prime. The order neither shows up on Amazon nor on the Wyze web. It also did not show up in my email. Moreover it was also initially difficult to contact Wyze and talking to an agent. Then after a long chat I got disconnected (likely my bad connection) and the office was closed when I tried to reconnect. But after the initial frustration they took care of me.

Hi Tsvi, it looks like our team was able to assist you by sending a return label. If you have any questions, please let them know.
I've been using Wyze for several years now, v2 and v3 cams. They worked okay for the price. However, the July, 2023 firmware update bricked all three of my v3 cams that were bought January 2022, along with many other people, as documented online. After wasting many hours over a week with support, they said I was S.O.L. as my 1.5 year old cameras were out of warranty. So I left some really really nasty reviews, including here. Then yesterday they agreed to give me a gift card that was almost as much as what I paid for the cameras. So I am not leaving Wyze just yet. Take my advice, if you buy cameras from Wyze and everything is working well, disable automatic updates.

6 month review. I bought 2 v3 cam pans 1 is working great. The other has been having a green and pink hue during daytime thats pretty bad since installing. Tried to get it warranted but it was too much of a hassle.

Not happy camper. Video Doorbell Pro - was told #Wyze adding option for 2nd chime - nope 9mths later! S/h bought cheaper wired version that has >1 chime! Offered me $5 - what a joke! Now shopping around.

Sometimes it works but never when it counts. I had my cam v3 pointing towards my back yard. Someone came and took my speedboat and it didn’t catch all that motion. At 12h the boat is there. At 14h00, the boat is gone. Nothing in between!!?

Positives: customer service is great. They respond quickly and resolved my issues without hassle. Negatives: everything else. My item arrived with a damaged cord and they had to send me a new one. All the usefull features are trapped behind a paywall. The cameras are pretty useless unless you buy a subscription just to get event recording and notifications. The camera itself works fine, but it's super sensitive even on the lowest setting. I get notifications for dust floating by, lighting changes at dusk, shadows, etc. You can select which areas in the grid you want to get motion notifications for, but it was still notifying me about shadows in the non-detection zone. They told me to turn off notifications for "any other motion" and just get the AI notifications. But I have my camera (inside) at the top of my steps, pointed down at my front door, and if anyone walks inside with their head down or if they're holding something the AI feature doesn't recognize them as a person and I don't get a notification. Also, I was given a 3 month free trial of Cam Plus Pro, but they charged me after the first month. (They did refund me immediately after I sent them screenshots of my 3 month trial email.)
