We purchased "Subscriptions For WooCommerce Pro" based on a feature explicitly advertised as "Ability to take renewal payment from a certain date." We reasonably expected this to mean assigning an individual date to each renewal, which is a documented, common business need. Within hours of installing the plugin, we discovered it only supports one fixed recurring interval - not individual custom dates. We never used the plugin for any live transactions. We requested a refund immediately, well within their advertised "30 Days Money Back Guarantee," and referenced their own refund policy, which states they will reimburse the full amount if they "cannot fix the issues in the plugin or our plugin features have some issues." Instead of a refund, we spent over a week being run in circles: first denial that any discrepancy exists, then a pitch for paid custom development, then "escalation to management," then a request to state our budget for the paid workaround, then denial again. At no point did they clearly say yes or no - just endless redirection toward spending more money. Their own refund policy also states that customers who file a PayPal or credit card dispute will be denied a refund and banned from future purchases - a clause we found telling, given how this whole process unfolded. We ultimately had to open a formal dispute with PayPal to try to get our money back for a product that simply does not do for us what it says on the product page. Once they have your money, it seems very unlikely you'll ever see it again. Their support doesn't seem set up to solve problems - it seems set up to stall you until you give up or agree to pay more.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We carefully reviewed your request and did our best to assist you throughout the process. We would like to clarify that, as outlined in our refund policy, our products are not intended to be purchased for evaluation or testing purposes. To help customers make informed purchasing decisions, we provide comprehensive documentation, live demos, and a trial version before purchase so the plugin's capabilities can be verified in advance. Regarding your requirement, the feature you requested—assigning an individual custom renewal date for each subscription—is not part of the current functionality of the plugin. The feature advertised, "Ability to take renewal payment from a certain date," refers to configuring subscription renewals based on the plugin's supported scheduling options and recurring intervals. Unfortunately, it does not support unique, manually assigned renewal dates for every individual subscription. Since this requirement falls outside the existing functionality of the plugin, we explored possible alternatives and even discussed the option of custom development. This was offered only as a potential solution to your specific business requirement, not as a condition for receiving support or avoiding a refund. We always strive to help our customers find the best possible solution and never intend to delay or mislead anyone. We understand that our plugin was not the right fit for your particular use case, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both our products and the way we communicate their capabilities. Regards,
Mayank and his team were so helpful, I had a few issues and he and the team swiftly sorted them out for me. They even said to stay connected to ensure it all works going forward. Great support and a very good product too.

UPDATED REVIEW: After my first contact (see context after), the support agreed to proceed with a refund after I gave away the entire list of bugs returned by the audit (they will fix them all). ------------------------------------------------------ Context: I have purchased the subscription plugin, ran an AI audit over the code (we do so on every plugin to protect our customers). The audit came back with TONS of issues, among them the ability for non-logged users to mark any order as paid, change other users' subscriptions and many other similar critical issues. I asked for a refund, giving all the details to fix those vulns, they just said they need an access to our machine... In what world a software developer requires a remote machine access to fix some code when you give them file name + line in the code ? So all in all, they didn't want to refund.
