While WinHost doesn't offer phone support - what they do offer is fast and KNOWLEDGEABLE support personnel. Rather than speaking to a level 1 support rep that's reading off a script, you can be assured that the person answering your ticket is qualified to answer your question - and they'll take care of you. Excellent support, time and time again.

WinHost is the best. Their pricing and plans are the best I've found. They are REALLY on top of the customer service side of things too. Quick responses and even code help. Uptime has been great too. I'm not sure what their rate is, but they have only been down a handful of times for maintenance in all the years I've been with them and they are VERY good about letting their clients know beforehand and doing maintenance during offpeak hours.

Account domain name renewal just all screwed up paid them after credit card changed and they expired my site then they again did the exact same thing

We began using WinHost several years, at the suggestion of an outside consultant who created our website. We have never had any issues with the hosting service they provide... which is exactly what you want. And as far as I'm able to tell, they charge far less than other companies (RackSpace for one, who we had used when we had a technology company in 2005-2008.) I would highly recommend them.

I had lost all the links of accessing to our website due to my laptop was stolen and I didn't have a clue who were the server providers. I contacted the team to see if they would be able to help and after a couple of emails they found out nearly all the information I needed in such a short time. Finding good hosts that offer the features I want, especially with regard to support for frequently updated frameworks, is hard to do when economics is also a factor. Winhost hits every box on the list: affordability, support, staying up-to-date with .Net/IIS/SQL updates from Microsoft. ANd being able to use my native clients, such as Visual Studio, SQL Manager and IIS Remote means that I can continue to use the tools I know the best while getting the job done. Tech support at Winhost has been especially helpful, particularly when they must demonstrate the utmost patience in resetting root because my poor web deploy configs rewrite permissions! Top notch, WInhost. For my sites, and the sites that my friends and family ask me to set up and maintain, it's Winhost every time.
