The company I work for uses Wingspan

The company I work for uses Wingspan. I have no choice on how I receive my pay. It's now Dec 24th, yes, Christmas Eve, and I still don't have my pay from the pay period ending Dec 15th. It seems each step has at least a week to week and a half delay before our money is passed on to the next phase of processing. I can only think it's because each process creates interest off of our money for them. Of course, we can have a virtual card or have the amount quick deposited on our debit card with additional fees. They have every angle to take more and more of our money. I'm quitting the job I have due to this payout system. I'm questioning how legal and legitimate this is.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I want to clarify some important points about your recent payment for invoice 019. It's important to understand that Wingspan does not determine or control payment timing - we simply facilitate payments between companies and their workers according to the schedules set by the companies themselves and standard banking processes. Your payment was scheduled based on when you signed your requirements on December 18th, with the standard deposit date set for December 24th by your employer's payment schedule. When you contacted us on December 23rd about expediting your payment, our support team member Thomas immediately responded and walked you through your available options. While we can't modify the standard payment schedules set by employers, we were able to help you access your funds more quickly through the instant payment option. Your payment of was successfully processed the same day and our records show it should appeared as pending in your account. All payment processing follows standard banking industry timelines and regulations - this isn't unique to Wingspan, but rather is how all bank transfers and payments work within the US banking system. We simply serve as the platform connecting employers, workers, and these banking systems. Your feedback helps us improve how we communicate about payment schedules and options. Our support team remains available Monday through Friday during US business hours to help explain payment timing and walk through any available options for faster access to your funds when needed.
