Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

I purchased the premium bison meat and was not satisfied with the taste nor texture. What I was happy with was the 100% guarantee they stand behind. i received a full refund of purchase, minus shipping and handling.

The selection of products on the site was second to none. The ordering was smooth and the delivery was excellent. I would like more options with the burgers- I hate splitting frozen burgers and the paper mess individually-wrapped 1/3 lbs would be nice. That's how I buy them in the store. Anyway can't wait to try the rest of the products.

I did not know what I was getting when my daughter ordered me my first order of Buffalo meat. The first night I received it I cooked a steak for dinner. I also had a left over piece of beef and did my own taste test. Oh my gosh! WOW ... the flavor of the Buffalo meat was fantastic, amazing and like no other. I am 91 years old and this was really something special. This was something new and exciting I could share with my bridge group the following week. The ladies at my bridge group all knew about the order of Buffalo meat was coming! Everyone was standing by to hear the rest of the story. Now I tell everyone they should order this Buffalo meat.

I never had Bison before; just moccasin boots made out of the hide. I've never experienced such a buttery, pure protein, wonderful steak as the cowboy cut. Wow! Simply the best! Everything came package frozen solid and I'm able to cut up the five pound frozen packages of ground Bison as needed. Thanks to all who cherish the past and look to the future of consumption with integrity. I don't think I'll ever eat 'beef' again. Pure Joy!

I buy bison because it is lower in cholesterol and fat content. My husband is diabetic & disabled, so he has to be careful of what he eats. Your bison is flavorful and you offer a good variety. I bought the ground bison and eye of chuck steaks. We love steaks, but beef steaks are high in calories, so your bison steaks are perfect for us. They grill beautifully and are full of flavor.
