Aside from being very expensive…
Aside from being very expensive compared to other brands just as good, I am very disappointed in how this raw dog food is advertised. Initially, I went through the prompts and questions about my dog and I submitted that my dog is allergic to Chicken, Beef and Fish. We subscribed to the suggested diet and for months I could not understand why my dog was miserable with skin irritations, irritability, depression, frustration, bumps... It made no sense because we have had her allergies tested by a vet and we stay away from those proteins. We had been feeding our dog this diet for months and were confused on why she could be sick. Finally, I did some research on we feed raw website (which took quite a few clicks to get to the ingredients, its not very transparent) and discovered that the "Venison" is actually Venison AND Beef. Same with the lamb and although it does not say I suspect the turkey... This is very frustrating. ANY other dog food brands clearly label the food appropriately. Why wouldn't it be called "Venison & Beef" recipe like everything else? Because of this my dog has been painfully uncomfortable for months along with unnecessary vet bills, and sleepless nights for the entire family. It has taken months to get her skin calmed down. I'm very disappointed. Please be more transparent :(

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're sorry to hear that your pup was experiencing allergy symptoms -- we know that can be so hard for them (and you too). While we make every attempt to ensure we are as transparent as possible about the ingredients within each of our recipes, we always encourage you to reach out to our team with any specific questions or concerns regarding your dog's distinctive needs, so that we can address them immediately. Additionally, our meal plans are customized based on your dog's individual needs and if a beef allergy was indicated when prompted, all recipes that included beef would have been removed from your options. Again, we sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding, but please feel welcome to reach out to our team directly at [email protected] with your account details. We would appreciate the opportunity to look into your meal plan further. Thanks!
