Wedgewood PharmacyReviews of wedgewoodpetrx.com

I have had nothing but good experiences with Wedgewood Pet RX. I’ve been getting compounded transdermal fluoxetine for my cat for about two years, and it has always arrived on time and appropriately protected from light. I’ve never had any issues with the subscription process, and if I have ever needed to put the subscription on hold or delay a delivery, it has been done with ease. For a nonlife-sustaining medication like fluoxetine, I highly recommend Wedgewood pharmacy for your compounding needs.

Yes, I've only just started with blue rabbit.\nAnd already i'm very disappointed. I had some issues with ordering, but I'm sure that's due to my learning curve. So I thought , I better speak to somebody on the phone they did answer quickly and was courteous. But without returning products and large delays on deliveries, I do feel I have to change pharmacies. I felt a little pushed by my vet Creekside. Veterinary Kaiser, Oregon to use you. My first box of canned food\nWas delayed and then the top of every can was crinkled in some dented. I did not see any leakage, so I decided to go ahead with use.Knowing it was gonna be a hassle when they told me there were no returns. I don't like not having option. So I will be moving over to chewy.

AHH wedgewood, what more can be said that we all have experienced about your terrible vet prescription services....orders not fulfilled in a timely manner, delays because you need to know the flavor, extra slow shipping times, customer service that is clueless and has to call you back. What's the problem with this Wedgewood....well, we have SICK ANIMALS that need medicine to feel better. We are not waiting on a new fedora, skinny jeans or a bag of Swedish candy....this is life saving medicine. Do I have bad luck, yes I have had a string of it, but you somehow managed to destroy all three of my dog's prescriptions over the last year. How can one company be negligent on 3 medications in a row?! That's not just my bad luck its incompetence. Why did I even stick with you after 2 bad experiences because I have a 7lb dog requiring compounded medication by liquid. You've got me by the short hairs. In this last phone call to your customer service...my script was supposed to arrive by Wednesday and 2 days later you refuse to send another along this weekend... even though tracking shows it has bounced from USPS to USPS and is hundreds of miles away. Zero compassion.

Need a life-saving compounded medicine for a cat. They take up to 3 days to compound the medicine (actually takes only a few minutes) and then will only ship via UPS which generally does not do weekend deliveries. Paid $30 for overnight shipping to get the medicine eventually. Vet sent in order on Wednesday, it is Friday now and the earliest we will get it is Monday or, more likely, Tuesday. ALSO, they don't really care; unwilling to take ANY extra steps to help us.

Took forever to reach a real person, then was put on terminal hold. I kept getting emails that I needed to order the prescription even after it had already been placed. Took them five days to process and ship. Wouldn’t use them again.

Apparently I am not alone in my dissatisfaction with BLUE RABBIT! I used them since that was the pharmacy listed on my vet's website. I ordered a 6 month supply of heart guard medication which is VERY expensive. I purchased it several months before my last 6 months of medication was finished so as to have it on hand and avoid any lapse in application. When the package was opened there was a dose missing...there were 5 instead of 6. I immediately called asking either for 1 dose to be mailed to me or 1 dose be reimbursed to my credit card. I was refused both suggestions bc it was beyond the 30 day limit. I explained I just opened the box bc I didn't need them until this point in time but was told that was their policy and obviously it was assumed I was not telling the truth about being shorted 1 dose. I assume if it was within the 30 day time limit it would have been credited..but bc it was not...I was being penalized for a company's error that was totally out of my control. This makes NO SENSE! There should NOT be a time frame limit. Keeping up with your pets well care is very expensive and to be penalized by a large corporate company for simple asks as replacements or reimbursements for products that were not even received through no fault of my own. I paid for products I did not receive..that is unlawful. It is my hope they will be held accountable for their unacceptable actions at some point...but I certainly will not be using them again.

The vet told me to order online for the prescription, saying that if I wanted it "tomorrow" I would need to pay for overnight shipping (this was on a Monday). I called the next day (Tuesday) to find out when to expect it, and it was "hopefully in 5 days" a Saturday. I actually received it the following Monday. This was an urgent prescription. The worst part was the blase response I got when I was clearly upset and concerned for my cat: "yeah, it's not ready. It will be a few days...yeah, I'm sorry. I don't know what to tell you, it will be a few days..." Her tone was the most unconcerned I've ever encountered. She didn't indicate that she even knew what my order was. It was like she was answering her roommate's phone and really didn't care if she relayed a message. It was definitely one of the more shocking experiences I've ever had. Just completely unconcerned. I encouraged my vet to opt for a local pharmacy next time because they will likely want to keep their clients happy

We were forced to use Blue Rabbit pharmacy through our veterinarian Burke Forest Vet in Springfiled VA. Simply put we have to use this service as the number of hoops tat we have to jump through to get a prescription filled requires multiple paper scripts to be sent via snail mail to the other on-line dispensaries. We found the cost to be much higher ($15/month ($30 from comparable on-line pharmacies vs the $46 that we were charged through Blue Rabbit a premium of 33% extra) to give our 15 year old labradoodle end of life care. That being said, while the initial prescription took some time to start (I had to purchase more directly form the vet at 3x the cost until the prescription was filled as it took about a week to come in), they were good with good notification of when they would charge my card on autoship. Unfortunately our big boy passed away last night and we had approximately half a bottle of medication plus a completely unopened bottle left. I asked for the possibility of returning the unopened bottle and was told that they only do returns within a 30 day window. Our dog passed away at 33 days and I called on day 34. The medication is unopened and has an expiry date of 1/2027! There is zero reason they could not accept it back and be lenient. I also pleaded my case as I am a furloughed Federal employee and have not received multiple paychecks, the $45 could have helped get food on the table, or helped pay electricity bills for my family. Given that the medication was charged at a premium, they claim exceptional service, the medication was unopened and did not expire for well over a year, I find the hiding being polity to be pathetic and completely non-empathetic to us the customer, and wasteful as the medication now needs to be disposed of. But hey, they did get their $46 from us.
