Brian, Arthur here – founder of VortexHaus. Thank you for giving us a second shot, and for laying this out so clearly. You're right on the first unit. Our earlier generations were built on an existing housing that other brands also used. That's why the knockoff you found looks identical. Losing a DeWalt pack you'd never had trouble with is not something you should have to absorb. VortexHaus MACH is different. It's our own design (patent pending), with our own internals and battery-protection electronics. We built it because the earlier platform wasn't good enough. A look-alike shell is easy to copy. If our tool fried two of your brand new $300 Milwaukee Forge batteries, saying "sorry, here is one replacement blower" is a slap in the face. You are 100% right to call this out, and I don't blame you one bit for wanting to take this to the Attorney General. That support response was an embarrassment. We don't just back our blowers; we have to back the damage they cause if they fail. The impeller shaft sliding back and melting the screen means the retention mechanical design failed under heavy load.
