If I was not content with Vivid's customer centered service modalities, I would conduct tactical procurement operations though vendors which may offer the lowest bid. The bottom line being placed as absolute priority with all other considerations ancillary opens the door to a myriad of potential issues including but not limited to: Unverified part source, zero trust policy breech, QI/QA anomalies, spec variables, longevity, critical fail perimeters falling outside design specs, material/alloy composition and finally, delivery schedules. Having Vivid as a trusted but verifiable resource saves my company time in trusting that the component has been vetted, genuine and not a counterfeit facsimile from an overseas source with known inept QA as well QC deficits.
