I as told I would save money. I now pay more then I did before solar, which includes the loan to Dividend. If you live off Social Security you do not qualify for the tax rebate federal or state. I have not had a zero bill from my electric company. This last month with the heat I am paying more than I did before solar was installed. I feel ripped off when the salesperson told me I could also hook up an electric car and still save money. In the winter month with little sun I get a large bill from my electric company plus the loan bill

This whole process was a nightmare from Hell. I was lied to from the salesman, Troy, to the project manager, Justin, including a Jennifer Jacobson. They did not get a county permit before installing the panels and it took form January 8, 2023, when the panels were installed until March 22, 2023 to get the permit and until May15, 2023 to get the solar working. This is an incompetent and sham business and should be shut down.

Panels were installed October of last year. They are not working properly. We have been paying Duke energy and for the panels. Vision solar has not fixed this.

A sales representative from Vision Solar visited my property to discuss the potential installation of solar panels. At the time, I was preoccupied with building a shed on my property, which unfortunately diverted my full attention from the sales presentation. This should have been cue number one that a reschedule was necessary instead this circumstance was exploited by their salesperson, who employed aggressive sales techniques and failed to provide accurate and transparent information regarding the costs involved. During the presentation, the sales representative misrepresented the total cost of the solar panel installation, providing me with incomplete and misleading information. I later discovered that the actual costs were significantly higher than what was initially communicated. They would not own up to their miscalculations, though they would not confirm the math used to get their estimates for credits. Luckily, I was able to get another quote from a more reputable company that was able to show the math behind their calculations and provide transparency and honesty. This deliberate misrepresentation eroded my trust in Vision Solar as a reputable provider. I would urge anyone considering working with this company to stay very very far away. Furthermore, the sales representative employed high-pressure tactics throughout the interaction, creating an environment that left me feeling coerced and rushed. This was specifically done by telling me he was providing a one time offer and needed my click to sign before he left. Of course, he also had with an impending appointment on his schedule giving me a more rush timeframe to think about things. As a result, I was unable to thoroughly evaluate the terms, conditions, and alternatives available to me. It is evident that these tactics were intended to exploit my distraction and impede my ability to make a thoughtful and rational decision. As a consumer, I firmly believe in fair and transparent business practices. The actions of Vision Solar infringe upon basic consumer rights and protections. What makes matters worse is their customer service/cancellation team and their blatant disregard and neglectful behavior in reaction to the matter. In speaking to the first representative, he asked me if I would ever go to a cell phone store sign a contract and ask to cancel it. If that gives you any insight as to the level of disrespect, they displayed in wasting hours upon my time and days of effort to go through and make matters right while being berated. Save yourselves grief.

Regardless of what happens after this review, it should never have happened. And even if they do the right thing and make good on their end of the deal, their actions and lack of , should exclude them from continuing to do business. Their disregard for their customers financial situations and what the effect their business practices have on them is a disgrace and should be criminal. The lies and deception they use to rope people into their contract is pure scam. Do not even consider using a company like this with the amount of warnings ( bad reviews) all saying the same thing. I have written only 2 or 3 reviews in my life. It takes a very blatant in your face purposely done poor, immoral, business practice to get me to spend any time writing this. But i feel obligated to let others know because its not fair for a couple of lousy people to benifet off of lies and deception to scam hard working people who trusted them with good faith. Beware

DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM! If I could give 0 zero stars I would. This is a horrible, disreputable company. Do NOT sign with them, because you will regret. The management doesn’t know what they are doing, the customer service is never there to help you and they push you to sign without giving a time to think about it. Save your time, DO NOT GO WITH SOLAR VISION!

Came soooo close to signing but they just didn’t seem forthcoming. Then i read all the reviews. Out of 172 reviews 131 were one star and the rest were all 5 star- which says to me they had their employees fill out fake reviews. Number one complaint was that they never finished the install

I sent in a cancellation notice within the 3 day recission period but received no confirmation that they received it. I called the company and was transferred to the cancellation dept. The customer service rep proceeded to try and talk me out of cancelling and then said I had to provide the name of the company we decided to go with before she could cancel our contract. I told her that I decline to answer that and she said she would not complete the cancellation unless I fully answered all her questions. The cancellation agreement clearly states that all we have to do is submit the signed cancellation agreement and that it could be submitted electronically. She was very rude. Her attitude and the company procedure for cancelling a project confirmed I made the right decision
