Great teachers!! Worst user interface ever. The only reason I use them is because it seems to be where the teachers are. Let me give you some examples of what I mean. 1. During the session, there are flash cards and a chat and the video and one a live worksheet where your teacher can correct what you're typing. Trying to flip through all the tabs to find the thing you want, during a lesson. It's a complete nightmare. 2. I dare you to try to find where your homework assignment is. 3. I dare you to try to figure out what to do when you've completed your homework in a way your teacher understands you've completed your homework. 4. I just bought 10 lessons, why after EVERY course are you asking me to buy more. I'm a paying customer, BACK THE #$@#$ OFF!!! 5. Scheduling sessions as well as the experience rescheduling is bad. My advice is, take a minute after you've done something. If you feel confused, spend some time to figure out what scheduling may have automatically happened and whether you have paid for, but unscheduled lessons, just floating out there. 6. If you're paying in Euros, Verbling hasn't done the work to set up accounting in other currencies. The root problem this causes is it forces teachers and students who use the same currency to play the money market game. The reason to use this service is because of the community of teachers who are there, not because its a good service. This company is low hanging fruit for someone outside of the San Francisco echo chamber to come in, copy it, and do something great.

Any learning tools backbone should be its teachers and i think Verbling has one of best teachers.I Like the structure and methodology of my teacher, the tool itself provides a video call which is seamless and good audio quality. Suggestion: there should be a tuturial on how to use all the functionalities of the website, i dont think every user is exploring it.

I have had great experiences learning online with Verbling, and when I did encounter a problem with how a technical function of the flashcards system worked on the site, and reported it, it was fixed within three days, which was pretty amazing.

Scheduling and reliability of instructors to show up is top notch and it is helpful to get reminders over email and text about upcoming sessions. Billing works great and seems to support promotions/discounting offers. Connection quality varies by session. There are usually about 6 instances in a 60 min session where the sound cuts out and the teacher or I have to repeat each ourselves a couple times. Some of the more specialized features aren't intuitive to teachers and students, so we don't use them as much as we could (flashcards, homework).

Luci

I like all the teachers in Verbling so far. You can see the teachers profiles and short video clip and peoples reviews about them and first trial class is the best way to try out any teacher. No obligation or membership so it is very easy and risk free to use Verbling. Plus, I have met quite a few good teachers for my Spanish lessons and I can recommend this program to anyone who wants to speak to native speakers of the language you choose to learn.

Con el profesor adecuado vas a poder practicar y mejorar, no solo tu gramática y vocabulario, sino sobre todo tu pronunciación y expresión oral espontánea.

I am so thankful i found this site! The only negative is my free trial booking cancelled on me so i didn't get to use it and would be grateful for another. I have already purchased 66 lessons and i am so eager to learn using this very cool site. Thanks, Jo
