Vacatia is great!! They allowed me to make my reservation on my family vacation and make payments on it until I paid it in full right before our trip. We had a wonderful time at Star Island Resort and I would recommend it to everyone!!

Place was ok, but not worth the money. Also there was a hidden cost for everything. will not use again and would not recommend to my worst enemy. Was a last min. booking and I regret doing it. Please find another place.

We are sorry to hear you did not have an ideal experience. While you selected a 2-1/2 star rated resort the good news is we have 55 other resorts in Myrtle Beach to consider, as well as 600+ resorts (rated up to five stars) across North America. Please contact Vacatia Guest Care via phone or chat on your next vacation and we will be very happy to assist you in finding a resort that better fits your family's needs. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The prices on your site were more than direct travel. There is no benefit to either refer or use thr site without checking with the resort in oir case.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. Vacatia does offer a Best Price Guarantee, as we offer the exact same price that our 600+ handpicked resorts display on their public web sites. https://support.vacatia.com/hc/en-us/articles/231143788-What-are-the-terms-and-conditions-for-Vacatia-s-Best-Price-Guarantee- Price and availability data actually comes from their reservation systems. There is no fee or markup for using Vacatia. It is possible the resort was offering a members-only promotion? If so, we are happy that you were able to get a lower price. Thank you for visiting Vacatia!
Great location, rooms clean and daily schedule of fun activities to choose from. Lovely pool/recreation area. We realized we left items in the dryer after we left, and the hospitality staff collected them and the hotel shipped them back to us. So appreciative!

I always want to highlight great customer service when given the opportunity! I am in the customer service industry and understand fully the importance of the customer experience. We booked our vacation home through Vacatia-first time customers ... the initiatial home we selected regrettable we learned did not have favorable reviews. I learned this after making our reservation. My family after reading negative reviews decided to cancel our plans to stay at this particular resort and look outside Vacatia for hel with securing our vacation home. I contacted customer service and spoke with Leah. My objective was to cancel our vacation home. Leah was so extremely helpful and understanding. Leah saved our summer family in short! Not only did she find a suitable home for our vacation but she also assisted with my payment plan and literally I feel went above and beyond for me! Thank you Ms. Leah! We are looking forward to our stay in Cypress Point and I sincerely appreciate your efforts and work ethics! Vacatia has an awesome employee! Leah you deserve a raise ! Take care & Be Well, Warmly, Teresa Grayson-Stone
