I wouldn't rate it any stars they scammed me out of my money my card went bad a I bout a new for 13 something and trying to activate it it showed this card was lock me and my aunt spend 90hrs trying to resolve it but they kept enoring us not tell us nothing every time we wanted to speak to the supervisor they have someone forn on the line while we was talking to them they hang up on us every time it's a fraud scam company I hope their company goes down the toilet not worth my time they even speck so quiet u cant hear anything at all then when they say I see the problem and we ask them they say we cant see it or we're not allowed to ask for that info I can imagine their doing illegal stuff sense it said they can't get in trouble and I'm sure they were stealing our money to live and keep it over the exp date so they can clam it as theirs what the point having this company their scammers why do we have forn people here dose that sound like a scammer on the phone they lie to us almost the whole entire month to keep what's mine I hope karma bites all them in the butt bc this is unceaple behavior their music crap it torture hearing it over and over it too boring and honestly they should all loose their company and give back everyone missing money bc that all fraud they did to us they treated us like crap and was being very rude to us every time we ask for a supervisor we get a different one and when we ask for the top dog they say this is the highest rating we have we ask them and they say it just me I have no one else here we know their more than one person here trying to claim our hard works of money this company is very illegal and shady I hope alteast one cop or a manager reads this bc this is very illegal for them to do they deserve to behind bars if everyone money was invested I'm sure they used it for their self fun and games untill they caught

My account was illegally put on hold for trying to purchase a hotel stay for shelter and they said to send a picture of my id I did that plus a picture of my social security card to make sure they knew who I was and they sent me a confirmation email saying that it would take 5 days I called them after the 5 days was up and it is still on hold Direct Express is a fraud

I am astonished to see that Social Security trusts the monies of disabled people to someone like Direct Express! Nothing I write here is even close to reality! Their service not only is incredibly bad, but also they do it openly, disregarding the needs of those with disabilities. They simply DO NOT CARE. I have been trying for more than a month to get our card reinstated (it was suspended without any reason or warning) without success. They NEVER pick up the phone, and when they do it is only to "connect you to the appropriate department" which, in turn, does not pick up the phone either. I am talking about waiting for more than one hour on the phone each time, and this happens again and again and again. They have our money and they will not give it! Why is this not addressed by the Social Security properly? They just changed from Comerica to Third Bank but, will that solve the issue?

MY HUSBAND TOLD THEM THAT HE HAD A NEW ADDRESS AND THEY SENT HIS NEW CARD WHEN HE TRIED TO ACTIVATE IT THEY TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO VERIFY HIS IDENTITY WITH HIS ID AND SELFIE WHICH HE DID HE CALLED THEM BACK AND THEN ANOTHER PERSON TOLD HIM THAT HE HAD TO HAVE HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD AND ID TO VERIFY WHO HE WAS WELL HE JUST MOVED SO THERE'S NO TELLING WHERE THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS AND HE IS MENTALLY HANDICAPPED AND IT NOW LEAVES ME TO PROVIDE SOLELY FOR OUR CHILDREN AND I WILL BE REPORTING THEM

I would give ZERO stars if I could. do NOT choose this card unless u love being stressed out.1st reason why u shouldn't choose direct express customer service sucks they CAN'T solve any issues u run into wen using the card 2nd-ly their call volume is always so high that holding for the next available rep isn't even an option a recording comes on & says try again later then hangs up 3rd the only time u are able to get a hold of someone is in the middle of the night 2/3am 4th wen u do make the cut & waiting for an available rep u end up waiting for so long rt before u hit the 45min mark u end up just hanging up. Now let me tell u the issues with the card 1st thing if u make more than 3/4 purchases online in one day it throws a suspicioun for fraud flag & ur card gets blocked & any purchases u try to make after that will decline & customer service can't do anything to fix it they don't even see on their end anything is wrong they dnt kno why ur card keeps declining the only thing that can fix the issue is ordering another card so every month for the last 4 months the length of the time I've had this crappy card I've had to order another one after my 4th online purchase. Then one of the benefits is linking it to PayPal well after u load ur PayPal 3/4 times they block that & the total amount transferred in the 4 times was $50 I can write pages that has more writing the Bible but one more thing & I'll end it. If u call them several times bout the same issue each rep will tell u something totally different I'm almost 50yrs old & this is the worst card & company I ever had in my life 👎👎👎👎👎

this debit card company is a thief every month my sister's money gets taken from someone that they're associated with they allow these people to take her money because they let them take it and said that she's being garnished or something and she is not these people are these this is an inside job everybody's number on their card has the same first numbers I think except all the last four are different these people are stealing people who have this card's money these people are thieves I am trying to call and report them to the news channels and the cops these people will not help my sister because they are the ones that are taking her money every time she calls and talks to the same lady and she is the one who's taking it these people are terrible do not use this company open a bank account these people are genuine thieves

Crazy how u on hold for hours then to freeze all transactions where I can’t even get my money off my card from the store Apple Pay transfer no nothing just outrageous horrible customer service wait time is unbelievable

Direct express has caused My Brother to be homeless because he cannot access his money because they want birth certificate that is taking months to come in. The meanwhile My Brother is on the streets because of this company if they were worried about fraud, they should’ve mailed him a new card do not trust your money with these people do not trust your money with these people horrible horrible card.
