I have been waiting more than a month to hear from Despegar for my son's ticket refund since was not able to travel due to a medical condition. I have sent them the doctors note and they have not done anything.

this is a great site I look for my tickets bought them had no problem at all I tried KAYAK I kept saying flight not available and when I called he just fly 800 number they were trying to make me buy more expensive tickets so I went to despegar and bought my tickets no problem I recommend this website

be careful with this company, especially with their policies of cancellation of a hotel reservation, I feel cheated by them, I have lost 385 dollars , because their policy of cancellation is not clear
