Charged for out-of-stock items and left with a loss
Update: The company has now reached out and compensated my currency loss via PayPal. While I appreciate that management solved the issue, it is disappointing that it required a 1-star review before they took responsibility for their inventory error. Customer service went from poor to good, but only after public pressure. -------- My entire experience with UPERFECT has been highly disappointing, both regarding their business practices and their customer service. Premature Charging & Inventory Issues: They charged my card immediately for an item they did not even have in stock due to a "system update delay." Financial Loss: Because they captured the payment before shipping and then had to cancel, I was hit with currency exchange fees and rate fluctuations, resulting in a direct financial loss of 88.54 DKK (~$13 USD) on a cancelled order. Poor Support & Bad Solutions: When I raised this issue with support (Jelly), they first shrugged it off. When I insisted, they offered me a $13 voucher for their store. This is completely unacceptable. Why would I want a voucher to spend more money at a company I no longer trust? It is deeply unprofessional to make customers pay out of pocket for your own inventory mistakes. I asked for a direct refund of the difference to my card, which was refused. I will not be shopping here again and cannot recommend this company to others.
