Thanks for the positive feedback! We're glad your experience with Unagi has been great. Enjoy the freedom to ride!
I have been a subscriber to Unagi scooters for over two years and have had nothing but positive experience with the scooter. The only issue I experienced was two days delays in receiving my scooter but the customer service rep was very responsive and sent me the tracking codes on time.

Wish I could give zero stars! This company has mastered how to scam people! Every review on here is 100% correct. I ordered my scooter and had to wait 2 months for it to even ship. They billed me for the months that I was waiting on it to arrive! It looks nice out of the box, but the minute you step on this thing you'll know you messed up ordering this thing, the stem wobbles around, and the tires are just a joke in a city. I literally rolled over the handle bars 5 times....riding on the sidewalk....needless to say I decided to cancel. I go to the site to cancel and as soon as you press the cancel button the page just loads forever. You can't actually cancel. I write to customer service and request to cancel and receive no response. I wrote more than 10 messages to no avail. They locked the scooter for non payment, which I didn't mind since I had no intentions of riding this death trap again. Then I get a crazy threatening email saying they are going to contact the authorities and credit bureau's and charge me fees. It instructa me to call a number that doesn't work or to cancel online, which still doesn't load. So I reply and send them photos of the many emails I've tried to send since the first month I had the scooter and tried to cancel. The next day they charge my card for $74 three times in a row. The next day 3 more. That's more charges than I have had the scooter in months. Not to mention these were months I've been begging them to close my account and take the scooter back. I get an email back that has a return label so I can send them the scooter back and then saying they will not refund any charges. So I've had to cancel my card for fraud from them for unauthorized charges. This is just the most clever scam I've ever seen. Get people to sign up, charge more money to cancel their order, and make it almost impossible for them to do so. It's madness. I'm reporting them to the BBB FOR SURE. AND I highly suggest others do the same.

Hi Nicholas! We are truly sorry to hear about the issues you've faced with your order and our service. At Unagi Scooters, we aim to deliver not only a superior product but also an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. Regarding the shipping delay, we acknowledge that during periods of high demand, our website states the expected wait time due to items being sold out. However, it's important that our customers are not billed while their scooter is in transit. If you have been charged during this period, we sincerely apologize for the oversight and are committed to rectifying this promptly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand the frustration and inconvenience this situation may have caused you and we want to make it right. Please contact us directly at [email protected], and we will ensure that any charges incurred while your scooter was in transit are refunded.
I’ve emailed these guys 6-12 times regarding “payment” issues whereas they say payment has failed but realistically they keep charging me. I bought my scooter outright after they offered it to me within my account as I was sick of them just taking money. I paid the 180$ buyout fee. Then they charged me 180 again plus another months rental fee! They will not respond to emails. Stay away from this company at all costs.

Shoddy company. I returned two disfunctional scooters now they claim they never received them and sent me to debt collections. I’m fighting a debt collection company over products I never even got to use. UNAGI, YOU KNOW WHO I AM AND I WILL NEVER PAY YOU A DIME. ITS A FRAUDULENT DEBT COLLECTION.

First off the scooter took 2 and a half weeks to ship, and then I was told my subscription would be $42.00/mo, it went up to $59 after one month without any approval from me. They won't let me cancel, I tried going through their website on both desktop and mobile and they tried charging my card after the scooter had already been sent back for over a month. I had to shut my card off because they keep trying to charge it. 2 months ago I sent them an angry email about canceling, I reached out to customer service they told me my account was canceled, that's how I got the shipping label in the first place. Now nobody will respond to my emails. Don't trust this company!

Overpriced rubbish. Paid a lot of money for what was supposed to be a quality product. Lots of power but the handle bar snapped off after about 6 months. Took it back to JB HiFi and they sent it to another dodgy company to “have it assessed “. They claim it was not a warranty issue. A 1” sold shaft just breaks off the metal is crystallised and that isn’t faulty manufacturing???? These units are Dangerous someone could be badly injured if they are going at any speed and the handle bar just falls off. Do no buy. You will wish you had never heard of Unagi. Shonky product and lack of spare parts. We were quoted $75 less than the price of a new scooter to repair it.

Hi Andrew, we’re very sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with your Unagi scooter. We truly apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may have caused you. However, we take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve our products and the support we offer, even in situations involving third-party sellers. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we are sincerely sorry for any trouble this has caused.
I haven't even started my subscription when Unagi emailed me and offered me another free month of subscription. There was also an option to cancel all the way down the email. After reading terrible reviews online as well as to change my mind and buy a good scooter, I tried their AI chatbot that told me to contact cust svc that tells me to use the AI platform!?!?!!? Even if their scooters are excellent, I would not bother with Unagi.
