They will only respond with scripted responses on the phone and email. They will not look into the problem until the 8 business days are up even though your item has clearly not shipped. I advise to shop in store if possible or another website. Go to the website source of the product if you want to shop online. Customer service doesn't exist online.

My first time ordering, I received a gift card for Christmas and I love everything! My items came within a couple of days was well packaged. I will definitely order again in the future.

The store experience was nice , lots of employees around to help and answer questions about the products. Good prices and cool testers too.

Ulta is such a scam. I received a $30 gift card for Christmas. Found two products online that had a buy one get one 40% off and would cost $32 for pick up in-store. Perfect. Placed the order, soon got an email that one of the products was out of stock. I went in-store to cancel the order so I could place it again online but for shipping to house instead and still get the buy one get one 40% off plus gift card use. The girl in-store helped me cancel the item but didn't walk me through it at all and said that she put the money back on a different gift card. Went home to place the order with the gift card, turns out the "gift card" was for in-store purchase only. So I went back to the store and asked how I could place the order online so I could get both products and was told that wasn't an option. Gift card purchases from online could only be returned with in-store credit. But my item isn't in stock at the store? Fine, found a different item and went to check out. But the balance on the in-store card was only $20? How does $30 get brought down to $20? I tried to ask for an explanation but the answers given made absolutely no sense at all. Finally left $10 cheaper because I was tired of the whole predicament. Screw Ulta and their dumb policies, never coming back.

I've had 5 different appointments scheduled and out of those 5 appointments only ONE was kept by the stylist. This was at 2 different locations in Sunnyvale, CA. I'm giving them a 2 only because I liked what was done at the one appointment that was kept. However, it was expensive for a haircut and partial highlights. I was looking for a better experience than my previous stylist but I'd rather actually get an average experience and actually get a cut/highlights than get nothing at all. Ulta management wouldn't work to fit me in at a time that worked for me and one manager actually told me that stylist was not reliable....maybe they should stop making appointments for him then. Extremely disappointed with their customer service and pricing. Will not be going back.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Will not ever spend my money with ULTA again. They somehow managed to deliver my package to an address that I haven’t lived at in over a decade, and would not correct the issue. I have changed my address with them multiple times, yet somehow this is my fault. Their customer service girl was like, “Well, sorry…that’s on you. It doesn’t matter how many times you e changed your address in over system over the last decade, this is still your fault. Oh, and we’re keeping you’re money.” I purchased several items, spent quite a bit of money, and someone else is enjoying them. Nicely done ULTA! It’s pretty sad when Walmart takes better care of it’s customers than you do. I won’t be shopping with you anymore. I’ve obviously been shopping with you for many years, but you’ve lost my business today. Your customer service and respect for your customers money is deplorable. I will not be shy about sharing this. I’m pretty ticked about how little you care about your customers. Your policies are horrible. I’ll replace these items at Sephora, and then give them my business for the rest of time.
