My first few online shopping experiences with Ulta were fine, but this latest one left me a little disappointed. I have always ordered from outside the US. I purchased my desired lotion and cleanser, as well as some other skin care products, and I received them in a box that was broken and the skin care products inside were soiled, leaving me in a bad mood. I hope they can do better and not let me down again.

This store charged me at the Farmington UT location for a mail order then they proceeded to charge me two more times from the IL location. They took more than $390 from me and won't give it back. They steal your credit card information and make multiple charges on it then refuse to give your money that they stole back to you. They should be brought up on identity theft charges and put out of business. Do not shop at Ulta or they will steal your money. Worst store ever

I've been a loyal customer of Ulta for years. However, the company has really disappointed me in about 80% of my transactions over the past year. My last order came with a shattered candle, which spilled glass all over my floor and cut me when I opened the package. I cleaned that up and let Ulta know, and then they resent the package where the SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN, resulting in dangerous broken glass all over my house AGAIN! They were supposed to contact me regarding an investigation of this due to the severity and danger of the broken glass, but I have not been contacted since. Now I received another order and multiple items are missing, resulting in my having to contact customer service AGAIN. This is ridiculous and disappointing.

My online shopping experience at Ulta was horrible. First, I would like to mention that I was ordering from outside the US. I have done so multiple times without issues. For shipping, I put in the address for my unit at a delivery service that flies the products out to my country - no big deal. Well, Ulta made it a big deal. First of all, the website is very glitchy and needs a lot of refreshing to get items in your basket. Secondly, they would not let me check out. I tried every card that I have, Visa, Mastercard, even Paypal and nothing. The amount was immediately refunded back to me each time. My bank said it was the store not approving my transaction. The site kept asking me to prove my bank info or try a different method, but it wouldn't let me type anything. It was definitely time-consuming and annoying, but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to reach out to support for help. Don't get me wrong, I manage a customer support team at a Marketing Agency, so I know a bit about what happened behind the scenes. I definitely never intended to sound like a Karen, but when customer support can't spell basic words correctly and says, "thank yoi for reaching out", it's a bit embarrassing. I got zero help from support. They asked for the number that was on my order which I provided with a detailed explanation of my situation. Guess what? I got an email back from a representative introducing herself and - well, that's it, that was the whole email. "Hi, this is *Blank* from Ulta guest services" - An incomplete email. Great. I don't have the energy or the patience to wait for an incompetent support team to help me with a transaction. You'd think they'd be on top of it, considering I'm trying to buy from them. But no. Don't waste your time. Order on Sephora instead, like I did.

Ulta in Hartsdale,NY is the most caddy work environment- some of the woman working their r so unbelievable unprofessional! I went there with enough roots to get my hair colored to platinum instead i got brown reddish hair.. after 4 hrs of sitting at the seat!! the other colorist said to me "Wow they left the color on your hair for too long. " i called to get my money back but they claim they r still Working on it- which i don't believe , the manager don't even know how to handle my situation- they continue giving me the run around. Please whatever you do DON'T color your hair there!!! They don't know anything about color. There is no master!

I had the worst experience at Ulta Beauty in Rockville, MD. My daughter gave me a gift card to get my hair done there. I got an appointment scheduled for 5/12 at 10:30AM. I got there at 10:30AM stylish was not ready to take me, she was still with another client, when I got there she doesn’t apologize or explained how long was she taking just told me to sit. I already found that disrespectful, I waited 20 min I got it tell her I had to reschedule because I have a meeting to attend. She was still with her client still telling me I have to wait. Like she couldn’t excuse herself and make sure I was ok and apologize at least. She asked someone else to scheduled my appointment for Saturday 5/13 at 2:00PM. I got there at 2:13PM due to a Telehealth visit I was wrapping up and my daughter call to let them know. When I got there without hesitation the stylist Maha said she’s going to reschedule me because she could not take me because she has not time, mind you I requested Valerie so I was not aware I was scheduled with her and Valerie was with client, I explained the stylist that we still have time I just wanted a hair cut that’s all. She keep saying she didn’t have time because she has to do wash and set my hair I keep saying I don’t need the services I just wanted my ends trim,nothing difficult, she said that she needs a hour or more so she couldn’t take me and keep arguing with me that she won’t take me, I said I am the customer and I know what I want and I was paying for services, then she said she didn’t need my money and that she was the stylist and what she said goes. I asked for manager so Amy came with a nonchalant attitude and sided with stylist without offering a solution, she also did not apologize or offer any solution I had to said if she can find them another time and was acting like she did not wanted to book me. I stayed there until 3;30PM and observe their attitude towards Caucasian and Asian customer which was totally different experience they were much nicer and helpful no attitude towards them, I also saw the stylists taking another customer that had an appointment for 3 and got them at 3;14PM without any problem very understanding and helpful with the client a very different attitude towards her. At this point a believe that Ulta has discriminatory practices and encourage their employee to treat clients different base on their color of their skin. They really ruined my Mother’s Day gift and experiment that my daughter wanted to give me a day to myself to get my hair done. Thank you Ulta

Glitchy app and same glitchy website. Impossible to connect PayPal to pay - just kicks you back to check-out page. They won't allow you to place an order if you are traveling and trying to do it outside of USA even though it is not mentioned anywhere and even though you try to pay with your American bank cards. Customer support tells lies and many of the "specialists" have no clue what's going on and just give random reasons and excuses that have nothing to do with an actual situation.
