Wow, what a product and what award-worthy customer service! If I would start a company, this would be what I would model it on: killer engineering, excellent website, A+ customer service, super flexible payment options, unprecedented helpfulness in their interactive installation videos, and top-notch packaging and delivery. These blinds aren't cheap, but the blackout effect still melts my brain after decades with Venetian blinds and then Wirecutter-recommended disappointments. I couldn't have chosen any better for my media room renovation in progress. Thank you, Josh and the whole UBlockout team!!! Worth 100% of the hype from your clever marketing campaigns!

These blackout shades from Ublockout were a fantastic purchase! Installation was a breeze and they look incredibly stylish, seamlessly blending with our room's decor. Their ease of function is a huge plus and I can confirm they provide 100% blackout which has been a game-changer for our west-facing room. Not only do they effectively block out all the late-day sun, but they've also noticeably helped keep our room cooler, leading to less reliance on the air conditioning. We have purchased from they twice now and both experiences, including interactions with their amazing customer service, have been excellent!

I replaced my window and had some issues reinstalling my ublockout shades. Within minutes of submitting my issues to the portal, I was on a zoom call with ublockout. He was able to walk me through the steps very easily to resolve the matter.

From the first time we looked at the website we have been excited to use these shades. Our first order in October 2024 was such a success we decided to update the entire house slowly. I remember the first time I closed the shade and just how 100% blockout looked. We have ordered, received and installed 3 more times for a total of 6 out of eight windows. All 4 experiences have been awesome. As we learned how to measure better each time (3 or 4 times before ordering) this process works. We have not had to contact Customer Service for any of our shades but we have been contacted by your company to make sure we are happy with our choices. We are excited to order our last two shades in the next few months and fully expect to have the same experience. Thank you for this product.

Wonderful product if you want TRUE blackout! Easy to assemble, but I didn’t read the instructions well and messed up the string, but chat support was immediate and very helpful … got it resolved quickly and works like a charm!! Awesome company. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I are now retired and enjoy a bit of sleep-in time in the morning. My former job required a 4 AM wakeup 5 days a week. We adjusted our sleep pattern ever so slightly on the weekends. Our bedroom faces east so trying to get a new pattern of waking up just a little later was problematic. Our new Ublockout shade is the perfect solution to prevent ole Mr. Sun from disturbing the new routine! The installation was a snap. I had a small issue with setting up the SmartHub pairing with our smart speakers and tech guy Cristian was ready to remedy with telephone assistance. Excellent product and support. We are more than pleased with it all!
