The service known for incorrectly detecting AI - now wants to take your IP in order to train it's own AI models... 0/5 - bad business and moral decisioning.

I find this really annoying because as someone who would never impair the integrity of my own work I find some of my assignments for my DC US history class getting flagged for A.I. and my grade is suffering because of it. I am aware of other students who do not care about their academics, integrity, or self improvement who simply get away with using A.I. through a humanizer and getting all A's. I find this very infuriating that the people that are actually putting in effort are the ones suffering instead of the people who cheat.

This is trash, because it hurts the students for falsely plagiarizing the word "a" or "the"

An article I wrote by myself was marked as 89% AI-generated, while content actually generated by AI was only marked as 20%. Even more ridiculous, when I uploaded the same text again, the result changed. What exactly is this system based on? If the same document can produce different results at different times, how credible is this so-called “detection”? The situation is deeply ironic: schools use AI to detect AI, and students then have to use AI to reduce the “AI score” in order to pass the AI detection. In the end, what gets damaged is not cheating, but the writing itself. To satisfy this system, texts are rewritten until they become increasingly unnatural, difficult to read, and lose their normal way of expression. I do not understand why such a program is being used so seriously. It cannot reliably determine the origin of a text, nor can it truly prove whether an article was written by AI, yet it can still affect students’ grades, dissertations, and academic futures. The most ironic part is that I am now using AI to write this review, criticizing a system that uses AI to judge AI. Turnitin’s AI detection is not a rigorous academic tool; it feels more like an absurd case of technological misjudgment.

Constant crashing, poorly constructed interface and inaccurate analysis of authenticity. How is this company performing any of the functions it markets itself on? Way to waste the time and energy of students and teachers who are already forced to work overtime! Wish i could give 0 stars. DO BETTER

They have charged me two months at €59.99 for nothing- they change the merchant name each time so I cant cancel it at the bank- I cannot login- it says error. I signed up and now it wont allow me to cancel- this is a scam- changing the name- I had to cancel my whole credit card as the Bank said that subscriptions do this so you cant cancel.

Flags pretty much all your work with plagorism even if there wasn't any plagorism, just using common phrases or the content you were literally taught will get flagged
