Apt AIReviews of tryapt.ai

I liked that this company sought jobs that were more conditioned to my profile/personality but tbh, the job I found wasn't even listed on Apt and everywhere I applied on Apt, I never heard back. It also felt a bit pricey for the experience.

Really unclear about charging, says £6.99 a month and suddenly £84 comes out of your account. Now I can't pay a bill. Edit: They did agree to refund post review

This Service is an absolute scam. Get a therapist that specializes in career counselling.

They claim that this app can help find your dream job. You answer different questions, many are not job related but things you like to do or how you relax etc. Go through all that, pay for it and the results are the same thing as linkedin or indeed. It asks you what your job title is that you want. Can do the same thing in any free job board. You can do the same thing within chatgpt or claude. If you want to be able to apply for jobs, that takes more work but you can and dont need apt.ai. Update: I appreciate that they did process a refund. This app was not a fit for me but could not find that out until after I paid. I changed the stars since they were quick and didn't fight me. Still only 3 stars since it advertises find you dream job, like it will help you figure that out like a career change that i am currently in. But you have to know what that is first.

My initial experience was frustrating and I rated this 2 stars. I was unable to retake the assessment after multiple attempts, despite following the AI chatbot’s instructions several times. I kept getting sent into a loop, and after at least four attempts to “force” a reassessment, I gave up. At that point, I felt the subscription wasn’t worth the price. I’m revising my review because the company responded appropriately. After I contacted support, they deleted my account as requested and promptly refunded my $29.99 subscription. I appreciate that they took my concerns seriously and resolved the subscription issue without hassle. I’m still leaving a caution for prospective users because my original experience was real, and I hope the reassessment workflow is improved. If that feature works reliably now, I think the app has more potential. Based on how customer support handled the situation, I would be willing to consider trying it again in the future if the reassessment process is fixed.

The evaluations and results reports were helpful, and the resume tuning is a great tool. Unfortunately, the job dashboard, application process, and success rate are not proving to be any better than freely available job boards.

The app is good, but make sure you cancel your subscription as soon as your done with it. They don't send any reminders and don't give any refunds.

The job search function didn't work and the inicially refused to give me a refund. After giving them a bad review and arguing for a long time, they did eventually give me a refund. For this I gave them a better review.
