The printing quality was as expected, the photos arrived protected properly packaged, I was a bit unsure about shipping outside the US, but it was no problem whatsoever, I will print my photos again for sure with Fromex

Trying several different printers and so far this is my fave. Have a few more to do before the big 5 star rating!

Well done. I am pleased with my experience.

This Company Advertises as True Black and White The pictures i received are more like Sepia color. I was looking for Black and White. Alot of these online photography printing companies just steal your money and have no skills in printing photographs. I will buy a printer and start printing at home. I'm sure the results will be better than their terrible guesswork.

We only print on ILFORD true Black & White photo paper and develop it in ILFORD B&W developer. We have been in the photo printing business for over 38 years and have a large professional following.
Excellent service. The prints came out perfect

The quality of service and print is five starts - beautiful - the process to order online was also very intuitive - easy and I will return again. I recommend Fromex.

I thought if I go to a special place like Fromex developed an old b/w picture would come out a bit better than a place I normally go where I pay 80% less than I paid for 5×7 for $5. I guess I thought they develop better than that.

Fromex is sending me a third set of b & w prints of the color .jpg files I sent them since I was not satisfied with the first two sets. I realize it is difficult to make high quality b & w prints from color files but Fromex certainly tries.

Rick, Sorry you were disappointed. We always adjust the prints to what we think shows the most tonal range with detail in the highlights and shadows. We have lots of 5 Star reviews from professional B&W photographers that love our work and order regularly. Your image file was color and converted to B&W. The drug store print was a little light, very contrasty and lacked any detail in the highlights or shadows; we tried to improve it. Our attempt to redo your order was printed about 10% lighter than the first one. We are sending you three more 5x7s printed lighter yet, and with more contrast and less detail which should be closer to your drug store print. We will also include a sample of the first two we did. Hope you like it. Thanks John
