The last appointment that I had last Tuesday on Sep. 22 was a disappointment. The audioologusr was trying to pair my hearing aids for sound therapy and couldn't do it and told me I could return my hearing aids. She discouraged me, making me feel that it's hopeless. What I need is encouragement not disencouragement. I hope my next appointment goes well this Sep. 30th. I am worried and stressed which made my tinnitus worse. Treble Health should be able to guide anyone through telehealth and program there devices successfully.

My experience maybe somewhat unusual from a typical patient as my tinnitus was irratating but not disabling. I had hopes that it would be significantly changed to the point that it was not an issue in my life. That has not happened. It is still there and may have been reduced from a 4 on a 10 point scale to a 3. I think wearing the hearing aids providing the pink noise has been a positive benefit and it seems to have reduced my perception of tinnitus somewhat.

It would be extremely helpful to tinnitus sufferers if there was a comprehensive list of potential everyday activities, events, procedures, and appointments that could possibly aggravate, interfere with, or exacerbate the condition. E.g., I did not discover until after I came home from the dentist where a battery of x-rays were taken, that indeed EMR can aggravate tinnitus. This is what I believe happened to me. My tinnitus was louder and harsher when I left the office, and immediately knew something had happened and was wrong. Had I known that they are harmful in many ways, I would have requested few or none. However, the dental community “pushes” for a complete set or else they cannot properly evaluate and treat you. I think such a list needs to be compiled, or if one already exists, then each tinnitus sufferer needs to be apprised of such list at their initial consultation. It may help somewhat in this difficult road that tinnitus sufferers are traveling.

When I have to start document request to repair equipment instead of solving problems is not what I signed up for.

Have not habituated. Have been using masking hearing aids and and therapy.

Audiologist was the best.. the company? Mah….
