Generating a trade-in quote and the shipping label was quite straightforward. Once I accepted their revised quote, payment was quite fast. Positive things end right here. They don't pick up the phone. Email response takes 3+ days. All this is still fine but their item condition definition is very vague. I've sold many devices in mint condition on other platforms and every single time, I could satisfy buyers and received a 5-star positive rating. However, the definition of mint for TradeInMyTech is totally different. They found four superficial imperfections on my laptop's bottom which one can notice only on very close inspection. Two of them looked like marks from handling, which one could easily buff off. Yes, they did share pictures of those. In all, they didn't accept my item as Mint and offered a new quote, which was $50 less. Well, I don't mind with this but I suggest making your condition definition super clear to customers. Maybe showing some sample images on your website to guide customers. This will help others align their product condition with your standards and avoid any disappointments.
