Review 4: This Is No Longer Just Narcissism, This Is Fraud" I want to be precise about what I discovered because it goes beyond personality and beyond poor customer service. Going back through my trade-in history, I found that a batch he would have loved to take — a genuinely excellent batch — had been processed internally and a strong offer had actually been generated for it. That offer was never sent to me. Instead, my status was changed to show that I had refused the offer. I never received it. I never refused anything. The record was altered. He then reissued it as an entirely new trade-in number and claimed the batch had arrived at TopCalcs on a later date — weeks after it actually arrived. Here is what makes that lie impossible to hide: that batch arrived the same day as another package he processed immediately — the one he was so eager to give me nothing for. He turned that one around fast, almost with enthusiasm. The excellent batch that arrived the same day somehow took two additional weeks, got a new trade-in number, a fabricated arrival date, and a manufactured refusal on my part that never happened. Think about what that sequence of decisions required. He had to see a good offer his team had generated, decide not to send it, mark it as refused, create a new record, assign a new number, invent a new arrival date, and then sit on it for two extra weeks while responding immediately to the batch where he got to pay nothing. Every one of those was a deliberate action. This is not someone having a bad day or being inconsistent. This is someone who, when cornered by his own team's fair valuation, chose to erase it and start over rather than honor it. If you are considering doing business with TopCalcs, understand that the records you are shown may not reflect what actually happened.
