Email Excerpts
"Very disappointing you did not call or go onto Zoom at any time over the last 2 months." " I apologize, very much, with all sincerity that you felt damaged enough to leave my company a bad review." "Sorry you have interpreted my opening paragraph to mean something different than I had intended. No wonder you thought a need to hurt my company with a horrid review."

Youmi, thank you for adjusting your comment. A 1-Star Review still isn't very fair. You never hired us. As an inquiry, for a SOU Statement-of-Use filing, you ultimately chose to stay with your attorney for your foreign filing. Fair enough. No problem. We love attorneys. The difference here was we stressed the need for comprehensive legal research to make sure the trademark you wanted to register was in fact LEGALLY CLEAR, under trademark law. It is not widely known the USPTO is limited by statute to research only its own database of 3.5 million marks. It cannot research the other 26.5 million marks in commerce in the USA. A wider legal search is a need. We had corresponded over a 2 month period, including 8 follow up emails. In those emails, I often asked for a phone or Zoom call with you in South Korea. I offered expanded hours too. I sought to better explain the extra need for legal research, rather than simply filing a SOU. As I had noted in my email, it seemed your attorney did not offer legal research as we had found 5 LOC Likelihood-of-Confusions from the same attorney. Maybe those clients refused the option of research. Maybe not. Legal research is a need, when you consider 35%-40% of clients are legally blocked, after they talk to one of our 12 trademark attorneys. Ethical attorneys will always include a true comprehensive search as the basis for any trademark filing. The USPTO recommends it - https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/search/comprehensive-clearance-search-similar-trademarks. In any case, my disappointment was that we had never talked, not with you personally. Also, my last follow up email opened with: "You Mi, you made a mistake to skip the needed legal research." in bold. I meant this to stress the need for research and to catch your attention so you'd read it. To help you. Nothing more. Apparently using bold offended you. For that, no matter my intention, I apologize to you. I am sorry! I hope this reply helps. I hope it helps change your impression of me, and the company I have proudly owned since 1992. The need to research your trademark is still there. Please ask Mr. Lee about the research. Please ask Mr. Lee to call us, for his future client's trademark needs. We work for lots of trademark attorneys. A 1-Star Review gives potential clients the wrong impression of TradeMark Express. We are the best way to get a trademark in North America. Comparable services from reputable trademark attorneys are 3x to 4x our low fee. We offer a great value to our clients because of our unique blending of a expert research and application staff along with our 12 independent trademark attorney network, included in our fee for legal analysis and legal questions. Please reconsider! Chris
