I have been waiting for four years, and still no product has been delivered. After sending numerous emails and Facebook messages over the years to them, their current response is a demand for even more money to cover shipping (already paid for shipping in the initial order) and a refusal to ship the product otherwise.

This is a well-made and beautifully packaged lamp! I really like that it is LED lit. Many customer service issues along the long and winding way for the lamp to get to me plus I had to pay extra shipping to finally get it. In the early days, the updates were frequent and interesting and then they dropped off the map for years. Hoping that production and customer service issues get solved because this is a creative and fun product.

After a long wait and a lengthy start-up experience, my Lampster arrived a few weeks go. All the years since its launch on Kickstarter, the Lampster team has been patient, polite, and true in communicating their intentions. I live in Laos, so some delays in delivery time were expected. It arrived in excellent condition, with a spare headlight-glass in the box. It is a beautiful product, wonderfully packaged. The phone interface works fluently, and I enjoy putting the colored lightshow in a dark room while listening to music. At the moment, its main daily use is as a nightlamp and reading lamp on my bedstand; it works excellent since it can change the lighttype and brightness seamlessly. There are different modes to set the lamp up in the mobile phone app, one suggestion would be to allow for a more muted and slow-transition light-music option, which allows to tune with classical music. Another problem with the Lampster is that my teenage daughter wants to keep using it in her room and never puts it back again. So it is really wanted, and I am happy that I bought it.

Missbrauch von Kickstarter Nach über 4 Jahren ist das Produkt noch immer nicht angekommen. Auch Individueller Versand für 30€ und Forderung der Rückerstattung des Kaufbetrags stoßen auf taube Ohren. Wirft leider auch ein schlechtes Licht auf Kickstarter, dass dort nicht eingegriffen wird. Auf der Lampster Website wird mit einem Versand innerhalb 5-10 Tagen (nach Europa) beworben. Vermute leider, dass auch nach 5-10 Jahren das Produkt niemals beim Käufer ankommen wird.

I paid 200$ 5 years ago and never got anything, it’s 2021 and not a single email back from them, they scammed everyone who kickstarted there project, what a shame

It was truly a very, long time from Ordering (backing) > to Receiving, but Andrew & Radu are perfectionists. And the Lampster is damn near close-to-perfect. The concept itself is stellar, and the sturdy, craftsmanship is cool as hell. Rubberized soles and leather harness are perfect accessories. The red paint job is bright (like a tractor) and really pops in a room. And the options you're able to access in the Lampster app let you customize your lighting preferences. So happy to finally welcome him into our home.

After 5 years of waiting for a product I paid $US200 for, they have finally replied to my emails asking for and additional $US50 to cover shipping. My demands for a refund have been ignored. Extortion! Do not deal with these people. If needed I have the correspondence that show's the truth about these scammers. Not US based. Eastern Europe. Get the facts. Search on Reddit where they can't take down reviews.
