LADDERS HAS SOME FINE OPPORTUNITIES BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT OLDERS JOB SEEKERS ARE BEHIND THE EIGHT BALL.IN MY OPINION,A SPECIAL LIST OF OPPORTUNITIES THAT ARE NOT AGE BIAS AND THAT WELCOME OLDER SEARCHERS. JACK THOMAS

I was a "free" user of the Ladders for a while and noticed that I really had little access to job posting information. After other website subscriptions I had expired, I splurged for the Premium membership ($49 for 3 months). I now have access to more job descriptions and have directly applied for at least 2 positions from here and have connected personally with a recruiter. If the activity yields a job offer, the $49 will be worth it.

I have not been able to look at any job offers due to the fact that every time I see a job title when I click on it you always display the window message to upgrade to premium. And that, I will not do.

The recommendations I get are very accurate. Also, easy to search job postings and apply. After applying, it even takes you back where you were. However, would like to have more than one function.

Let me start by saying, I have been a long-time TheLadders user and much appreciate all the upgrades. However, as a job seeker, it would be helpful to know why a recruiter passed on me as a candidate when I apply for a position through TheLadders system. Just being marked as "not a fit" does not tell me anything to improve on for my next application submission. Why are recruiters allowed to be so vague in their responses to applicants?

I like the site and I like the features and benefits. However, my suggestion is that you charge the job listing entities a slightly higher fee and make the site free for candidates. You will definitely get more traffic and more of the "non" actives to participate. This gives your business clients a more complete field of candidates and probably more qualified candidates.

A very pro-active team with well-defined processes. Their follow up & review processes are excellent

The job listings are first rate. The links are almost always valid and the site keeps track of what jobs I've applied to and how I stack up against others who apply. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for a job.
