Where it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

Nice packaging easy to open. Long shelf life. My pup loves it. I did end up subscribing. Give it a try and your dog will show you just how good it is to be loved by you!

That last line just made our whole week! Knowing your pup is thriving on Happy Howl and that you love the easy-open shelf-stable packaging means the world to our team. Thank you so much for joining our subscription pack and for sharing such a beautiful review—give your sweet pup an extra treat from us!
EVERYTHING IS GREAT! Dogs love it, customer service was needed and I got a quick response and the TetraPak packaging is awesome and very convenient. But, since I have 3 dogs, cost is getting a bit too high...might need to discontinue. : (

We love that all three of your pups are thriving on Happy Howl and that you had a great experience with our team! Feeding a trio can definitely add up, but before you leave, we would love to help lower your costs. Switching to our larger 24-pack or 36-pack drops the price per carton significantly and lets us stretch your delivery frequency out further so you save money overall. If you would like us to adjust your plan to a bulk size, just let us know and we will get that set up right away!

Converting a picky eater into a happy diner is exactly why we craft our food the way we do! We are so thrilled your boy is devouring his meals and doing so well on Happy Howl. Thank you for your support and for being such a great part of our family!
If the dogs like it, it must be good. What Mom doesn’t like is the packaging—it’s tough to open, and the food doesn’t come out easily. A lot ends up stuck in the carton.

High marks from the dogs, but room to improve for Mom—we appreciate the honest review! Tetra cartons keep our food fresh without preservatives, but they can definitely hold onto that last delicious bite. Cutting the top completely off or using the scooper provided makes getting every bit out so much easier. Thank you for sharing your experience, and give those happy pups a treat from us!
