The Curly Canvas services only curly hair. I have ten years of experience working with curly hair of all kinds, in New York City, at the Devachan salon. I'm a Devacurl level 3 certified master stylist, which means I completed the highest level of curl expertise. I'm looking to work with any curly haired clients that want to deepen their knowledge of curl pattern care, product knowledge and application, and how to use products with purpose. Or if you just want to have a new curly style. I am available to anyone who needs care, inspiration, knowledge, and experience to make your curls reach their fullest potential.

The whole experience was explained and agreed upon. The stylist was very helpful in explaining the technique. The whole process was timely and the end result truly was a canvas! Beautiful haircut and styling. Very happy customer.

Thank you 😊
Lidia did a beautiful job cutting my daughter’s long, thick curly hair. I recommend that anyone with natural curls go to someone who specializes in cutting and styling curly hair, and Lidia is one of the best!!

Thank you
I loved how my hair turned out and my overall experience was very helpful seeing that I didn’t know much about what to do with my hair before hand. She explained everything very well and my haircut was so cute by the end.

I am so happy to hear that it was helpful. Thank you for you’re feedback Isabel !
I had a wonderful experience here! I left with a terrific curly cut, education on how to care for my curls, practical tactics and even a book that had all the steps discussed during my appointment. I was very impressed and I’ll be back because I’m very happy with the results I’m getting at home doing my own hair!

My 5 year old daughter who wouldn't let anyone touch her hair LOVED her visit to the salon. Lidia went above and beyond and helped us with her tangled hair. We can't say enough good things about her and this experience! we will definitely be back & recommend Lidia to EVERYONE !

Lydia took the time to explain everything from how to condition my hair and apply product to clipping and diffusing. She gave me a great cut and gave me hope for taming my wavy/curly hair! Highly recommend!!
